Your posts are getting progressively stupider.

The people I see collecting scrap metal are

unemployed trying to put groceries on the table

and gas in their tank.

I propose that the city initiate a

stupidity tax for topix participants

and the rate to be determined by the

number of stupid postings.

You would be taxed out of everything

you own.

I also propose the city establish a

tax on gourds and yo yo strings.

The revenue raised could

be used to level empty downtown

buildings to create unneeded paid parking.

I mind that the city is remiss on

collecting potentially huge taxes

on yo yo strings and gourds. The city

could then raze empty buildings and

construct a multi-level parking lot.

First off most if not all of these people are not operating any vehicles that require a CDL. A regular pick-up truck with most trailers are less than 26000 lbs and are not required to have CDL's. You do need to have a medical card in order to pull a trailer and truck combo that is over 10000 lbs.

JKMILLS,

I demand you collect delinquent taxes

from Dottie.

Tuesday afternoon she came to my farm

and sold me a cracked gourd and

defective yo yo string.

She neglected to collect tax on the items.

I am in a futile pursuit of her to obtain

a refund on the substandard products.

I am requesting an official investigation

of both you and Dottie for your actions as

the self appointed Paid Parking Czar

of Princeton, Fredonia, and Farmersville.

I demand that all funds be accounted for.

Willie should be getting out of jail shortly

and he could be of great assistance to you.

(Just don't let him handle money)

Claude you do make some good points but what is your obsessive use of gourds and yo yo strings? You make me want to shove a gourd in your mouth and hang you with the yo yo string!

Why are these people that are collecting scrap metal not required to carry CDL License, pay taxes on their profitts, carry liability insurance and meet city and state requirements for operating a business. That's what they are doing so why are they any different from any other business.
The city need to fine them and make them operate just like any other businesses. The trash pick up companies have to do it, so what's the difference?
Hey JKMILLS!!

I unknowingly violated your proposed requirements

for recyclers earlier this week.

I took my cans (two Food Giant Bags full to Clint's Pawn

and Recycling.

He paid me over two bucks.

I do not have a CDL,

I do not have a business license,

and I did not declare or pay taxes

to any governmental agency on the sale

which has caused a mild case of

recycler's remorse.

Should I return to Clint's and request

to buy back the cans?

Should I pay the tax.

Do I need to purchase a license.

What about a CDL.

I make this trip every week or so and

am determined to be a law abiding citizen.

Please pass to Dottie that all the cans

were Coke, Pepsi, and Dr Pepper.

No bootleg products were recycled.

Your thoughts please.

This is silly. If they weren't making a few bucks recycling, they'd probably be taking tax dollars for food, etc. Leave people alone. Being willing to work is a fading fad around here!

Sorry if I struck a nerve there. Why don't you head on down to the PACS office and sign up for a Govt. handout.
