Because that place was a joke to begin with. Anybody who opens that sort of business in a town like Princeton is doomed.

Yeah, that place didn't even stay open six months. I wonder what really happened. If Taco Bell couldn't make it in Princeton, in that building, yes Grandma Paddles, I believe anything is doomed.

Because Taco Hell sucks. The place was dirty and the employees were nasty. Plus they use the worst quality meat. It often gives people explosive diarrhea.

I wish taco bell would come back! Taco bell wasn't dirty it was the fact that they weren't ever "busy" compared to wendy's mcdonald's and kfc! Look at country kitchen they were in the same boat!

Would somebody please re-open that place. I don't care if it's a Denny's restaurant. That place, like the Country Kitchen, is becoming an eyesore for Princeton. Hell, put an adult bookstore in. Oh, I forgot, this is inside city limits.

Its very sad to see so many nice buildings in Princeton sit vacant and we have lost many businesses. Some due to the economy however some due to lack of business knowledge. Sadly some new business owner want to get rich quick, this is not Chicago and not the place for those type businesses. Princeton is your "hometown" place, with various people plus many farmers in and around the outskirts. We have 2 high rises alone with senior/disabled folks, who could use a reasonable priced place to go. Good ole fashioned cooking would be an ideal type restaurant. With someone for everyone. We don't need fancy and we don't need Chef Pierre. I hear there's an Italian restaurant going into the old Country Kitchen. Similar to Olive Garden. Princeton has enough Spaghetti places. I make the best spaghetti anyway. LOL!!
