Ok Folks PLEASE remember- If you can't take a baby's crying PUT THEM DOWN FOR TEN MINUTES AND WALK TO ANOTHER ROOM!!!!! CALL SOMEONE FOR HELP. It's better to let a baby cry in another part of the house than to lose your temper and the child lose their life.

This is SORRY.I am a father of 2 myself and cant understand how anyone can hurt a child in any manner but much less there own.Yje justice system is a joke.It failed once again by a long shot but I can GO OUT HERE AND GET A DUI AND GET FIVE YEARS.I HOPE THEY KILL HIM IN JAIL AND HE NEVER SEE'S THE STREETS AGAIN.PEOPLE MAY DISAGREE BUT TIME AND TIME AGAIN YOU SEE THESE STORIES END THIS WAY AND IF YOU CANT GET JUSTICE THRU THE COURTS TAKE THE LAW INTO YOUR OWN HANDS AND MAKE SURE YOU GET THE JUSTICE YOU DESERVE.MORE PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE THE LAW INTO THERE OWN HANDS TO ENSURE THE OUTCOME IS RIGHT BECAUSE THE COURTS FAIL TIME AND TIME AGAIN.My HEART REALLY GOES OUT TO THIS FAMILY AND OTHERS IN THIS POSITION.

NOT THAT I WOULD WANT TO SEE YOU GO TO JAIL BUT WOULD LOVE TO SEE SOMEONE GET THERE HANDS AROUND HIS NECK.I AM 100% ADVOCATING PEOPLE IN THESE SITUATIONS AND OTHERS TO TAKE THE LAW INTO THERE OWN HANDS WHEN THE LAW LETS THEM DOWN.IF PEOPLE WOULD DO THAT THIS CRAP WOULD CHANGE.DIDNT THE JURY HEAR HE HAD A TEMPER?WHAT A SORRY JURY AND IF THEY HAVE KIDS AND IF THEY DONT THEY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SLEEP KNOWING THEY LET THIS GUY GO.tHIS LITTLE GIRL DIDNT GET JUSTICE BUT STILL COULD.

Yeah, dean has issues....he has always had major temper problems. He's my cousin. He's a year younger than me so we grew up together.....It's a sad situation for everyone involved. I am sure he's guilty, and i'm not trying to make excuses for him, but he's a very troubled person and probably shouldn't have EVER had kids to begin with.

12 months in jail for killing an infant, what a damn joke. If I would have been on that jury it would have either ended up with a murder 2 conviction or we would have been a hung jury because I would have never went with anything less. Really murder 2 is even getting off easy for killing an infant if you ask me. There should only be one punishment for it and that is death because if you take the life of a helpless infant you are capable of doing anything.

Pepole are saying anger issues. I don't care what the guys problem is there is still a line between anger and this. I know plenty of people that have true anger issues too and they don't do this.

Let anyone and I mean anyone do this or harm in any way my child and they better hope the law catches them first and they better hope they get locked up for a long time (if they murdered my child then they better get life). It will not be good if happened to my child and I got my hands on the person responsible.

I am Khloe Morgan's maternal grandmother and I am beyond outraged. Dean violently shook Khloe to death. The medical evidence was overwhelming to say the least. How the jury can ever sleep with a good conscience is unfathomable.Although it was not and could not be introduced into trial, this monster FAILED a lie detecter test shortly after her muder and then CONFESSED!!!!! I will never get the chance to know this beautiful baby because she was MURDERED. RIP our beloved Khloe

Yes...it's a tragedy, that is for sure.

It's terrible for everyone involved....I cut dean out of my life about 6 years ago due to his sever mental issues. He has had major issues for as long as i can remember (when he was a child he would get really flustered and bite his arm, or bang his head against the wall...stuff like that) He is also one of the most co-dependent people i've ever known. Anyone who's ever been his "friend" will tell you how clingy he is and how his behavior is borderline stalker-esque.

He has also had mental issues which led to violent outbursts. The last straw for me was when he got angry and jumped from a couch 6 feet across the room and punched someone, starting an all out brawl for NO reason.(it was unreal)

To say the VERY least, he has mental issues....Am i trying to make excuses for him? no, not at all. I'm just trying to paint a picture of his personality.

At the same time, I think he genuinely MEANS well. He's just very troubled. He's bipolar, and sever manic depression runs in his (our) family. It's hard to be friends with him....Ask anyone who knows him.

I don't think he's "evil" though. I do not believe he'd do anything with real malicious intent......i just think he is a very sick person.

Is this a justification? Absolutely not. He was off his meds when this happened. That alone is unforgivable in my book.

I feel terrible for the mother, and her family as well. I doubt she knew how troubled dean was. I feel terrible for HIS parents as well. They've had nothing but one tragic event after another in thier lives as well, and they are VERY good people.(Dean's brother killed himself for one thing)

This whole event has really shook up our family. I think most people in my family find it hard to believe he'd do something like this....i honestly am not surprised in the least...i think people have this amazing ability to ignore how bad things really are...

This whole thing is hard to look at objectively for me i guess.

Maybe he honestly had bi-polar and yeah that can make you do some crazy things I know but it is still no excuse for what he did. People have to be responsible for their actions.

I seriously hope that you are just being stupid on here and trying to stir things up. If not you are a complete idiot that should be shook to death. Hey we are overpopulated so it won't hurt to shake you to death.

I agree 100%

I am actually a little miffed by the verdict. I just wanted to give some context to this. It's really easy to sit back and watch something on the news and not see the very real face of things.

It's very easy to think of Dean as an "evil" person. He's not. He's a person. He's got good qualities and bad qualities. In general he's a very messed up person with some very deep rooted issues. In no way does this excuse his actions. I find what he did disgusting. I will probably never forgive him, but at the same time i feel sorry for him.

I feel bad for the mother, i feel bad for my aunt (Deans Mother) and my Uncle. I feel terrible for everyone in the family, on both sides.

And most of all i feel bad for the baby and her twin which will now grow up not only without a twin sister, but with a mother who will likely never get over this tragedy, a father who will surely never be well and the system which failed them all.

Sad thing here Gambit is he wont see prison and that is very sad.People say there is no difference in 12 months or 1 year but there is a big difference in the courts. If your sentenced to 12 months anything in months is only jail time.Had he been sentenced to 1 year it would have been prison time. The difference in 12 months and 1 year is huge and its pathetic he will never see prison.
