How about taking that $1.5 million that they want to spend on the crap land and give it to the school? They say that money can't be used for education and other stuff. That is crazy. If I don't have enough money in my checking account to pay bills, I transfer funds from savings. I guess the next time the bank wants my car payment I wont transfer the funds and tell them the other money can't be used for that. Isn't there money in the rainy day fund that can help with the school? Cause I do believe it is starting to drizzle in todays economic situation.

Another point. I thought we were suppose to put the children first? I guess I am alone in this belief. We need yo educate the young. They are our future. They need the best education that we can provide so they can be the successful leaders of our future. Who knows, with the proper education, maybe one day that child will be the new board member that will make educated decisions on spending money and have their priorities set to do it wisely. Like not buying the land when the money is needed in other areas.

If the school has given back millions over the last couple of years, then why not give the money need for the budget. It would appear they know how to better manage money if they gave back so much. Then again they are not the ones buying up land.
