Obama campaigned on Hope and Change 4 years ago. I will give credit where credit is due: He delivered on one/half of what he promised: He Sure Changed Our Great Country. Examples: $4.00 gasoline; $16 trillion debt; Billions given to countries that hate and want to kill us (latest example is $500 million to muslim brotherhood in Egypt); Highest number of people in poverty in country's history; 25 million unemployed; Largest number on welfare ever; Half of population pays no taxes; pay 25% of United Nation's budgey, although there are 180+ members; Fast and Furious gun disgrace that killed border agent and others; Non protection of our Syrian embassy and murder of diplomats and others there; coverup of what was not done which led to deaths in the embassy; on and on. But, he totally failed on the HOPE aspect of his campaign theme of '08. I Have A Confession: This Democrat swallowed the kool aid and voted for him in '08. I am ashamed to admit my complicity in our country's situation. This time, I am working my arce off for Romney and I pray that he wins.

But, THE LOCAL AND STATE DEMOCRAT POLITICIANS ARE STILL SUPPORTING OBAMA. This, in spite of what I wrote above and in spite of the fact that Obama is WIPING OUT THE COAL INDUSTRY. It is my hope that Magoffin, Floyd, Knott, Pike and other local Dem office holders will PUT COUNTRY AHEAD OF PARTY AND, IF NOT COME OUT AGAINST OBAMA, AT LEAST BE QUITE AND NOT SUPPORT HIM.

On the other hand, in my opinion those Dems and others who openly work for Obama have no shame. Well, i understand the criminals and deadbeats being for him and i figure they will all vote for him if they are sober enough to get to the polls. But, the hard-working people who belong to my party, the Democrat party, LET'S PUT COUNTRY OVER PARTY AND GET THIS GUY OUT OF OFFICE. Eliminate our Our PAIN, Get Rid of HUSSEIN; Get Our Great Country FITT, Get The Vote Out for MITT.

Oh Yeah, Obama gave us HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE. But, folks, we aint seen nothing yet. If reelected and has no worry about another election, among other things he will do are: (a) billions in poverty aid to Africa; (b) money payments (so called reprerations for slavery) to black people in this country.

Romney was so proud of coal he mentioned it in debate. The people finally saw what many have been saying for months, Obama is in over his head. When matched with an super intelligent guy he can't function. You can't get into Harvard with C's and compete with another Harvard guy with degrees in law and business. Obama was just out matched last night obvious for all to see. Hope and change got him elected the question is will continued hope and change get him re-elected. To that question no one knows untill votes are counted.

I certainly think the poster from Williamson is correct: Obama is in way over his head. At last night's One-on-One match-up, who Got a Hit? Mitt! Who Struck Out? Is there Any Doubt? Who Looked Cool and Who Seemed the Fool? I watched and felt a little (not much) pity for Obama's media consults on CNN last night after the debate. All of them--including Carville and the radical (his name escapes me)--ADMITTED THAT OBAMA GOT AN ARCE KICKING! And then, I watched poor ol Lanny Davis just a while ago admit the same thing.(You remember Lanny. He went to law school with Hillary and Bill and kisses their arce.)Maybe the Good Guys, the guys who work and raise a family and pay taxes and go to church and serve our country, can outvote the Deadbeats and win this election. Maybe, if we Work, Work, Work to get out the Vote.

Good buddy it makes no difference what they do for or against Obama. One of my friends said he ran on to former Democrat Pike County Judge Bill Deskins who is quite ill and he told him Obama would lose Pike County as bad as he will lose West Virginia. He said too many in East kentucky depend on coal, even the employed people outside of coal are thankful for their jobs and understand if coal get worse their jobs are gone. That does not bode well for Ned Stumbo and his wife Janice running for supreme Court Justice. Ned Stumbo is the one that Obama destroyed what little chance his wife had. The Stumbo's put all thheir eggs in Obama's basket.

Does anyone know about how big Obama will lose Floyd County surely not as badly as Pike? I agree Janet and Ned (Someone said on one post Ned should or could change name to Stumbo) so the Ned Stumbo Poster must know he has already changed to Stumbo. Does anyone know if Ned is working as hard for Obama this trip as he did in Ohio during the 2008 campaign? I still doubt Obama can help Janet very much in Floyd County. But who knows, many have begun to see some state workers boosting Obama-Stumbo. In all fairness to Doc Marshall and the Magisterates we have not seen them bumping for Obama-stumbo as of yet. We will be watching and they will pay dearly for their mistake in later elections, if they bump for obama. You can't hurt your people and expect love from them when you want their support.

LOl - Perhaps Ned thinks changing to Stumbo may help him get his reputation back. Barry Soetoro, changed his name to Barack H. Obama and the name change served him well even the "H" in his name.

I think the larger question is how much can Ned and Janet Stumbo help Obama in Floyd County and all over East kentucky. I am sure Janet is a little stronger in East Kentucky than Obama. I am sure Obama people will dump all their eggs in "Janet and Ned's Basket" all over Eastern kentucky hoping Janet can get him some votes in our area. I think both Ned and Janet know Barack on personal terms from Ned's work for Obama in Ohio in 2008.

I firmly agree that Mitt kicked Obama's a** in the debate. I am a democrat but I sure didn't drink any kool-aid the last election. I voted republican just as I will do if I can make it to the polls this November. My wife and I have worked all our lives for a combined total of 83 years. We both are disabled and can barely survive on what we draw each month. My wife has medicare but I don't qualify for another 10 months. I have diabetes, have had a heart attack and other major health problems and can't afford insurance. Anybody would be better than Obama. Why should we pay for all the vacations Michelle takes? Our forefathers sure did not mean for our country to get in this mess. Vote Romney!

Very good post from Richmond (Holding on) and very touching. Couple of workers, like so many who have made this country what it is. Hussein is the President for the Deadbeats, you know, don't work, free phones, sign up for handouts and show up to vote Dem. This country needs Romney.

I swear, I've never seen times like these. One seemingly can't go to Foodcity and buy the same things at the same price from one month to the other. Yet we hear inflation is in check. I am a Democrat and I didn't vote for Obama last time and surely will not this time. Even fast food restaurnants are almost as expensive as nice sit down establishments. I don't know who is to blame also, for gasoline prices, but I know they have nearly doubled in past four years. I will put my two little children on the bus to school. This is something I said I would never do, we just can no longer affford gasoline prices. Something must give, no one in my opinion can be any worse than Obama. My daddy always said when he had a mule that would not pull his plow, he unhooked him and put another one in his place. We don't like Romney as well as the war hero mcCain, but he will do for us.

Very touching what Mommy said and very true. I have a confession: I voted for Obama last time, I am sorry to say, so I am partly to blame for our country's meltdown. I am trying to make it up by encouraging everyone I know to please vote for Mitt.

This former Obama backer has lots of shame, shame that I drunk the kool aid, shame that I was so stupid, shame that I, a former soldier voted for the Socialist.

If Obama was as interested in ending the war on coal as he was ending wars in the Middle East all of Eastern kentucky would prosper. He could call his troops out of the coal fields and close down the big anti-coal Ivory Tower offices in Washington and branches offices all across America. This war could be ended within a couple days. But his big city voters would cry to high heavens if he ended the war on coal.
