FOLKS, JANET STUMBO AND HER HUSBAND NED PHILLERSDORF ARE NOW DENYING THEY ARE OBAMA SUPPORTERS IN THE LAST ELECTION AND NOW HIS RE-ELECTION. THAT IS A LIE. NED WROTE THIS ARTICLE TELLING ABOUT HIS EXPERIENCE WHEN HE WENT TO OHIO AS AN ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT OBAMA'S CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT IN THE 2008 ELECTION. NED ALSO WAS AND IS A FINANCIAL BACKER OF OBAMA IN THAT AND THIS CAMPAIGN. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS OF TOPIX SOME PORTIONS HAVE BEEN DELETED. YOU CAN FIND THE ENTIRE ARTICLE ON LINE VIA GOOGLE. THESE ARE NED'S WORDS.

"I spent 30 hours listening to lawyers, arguing about boundaries and helping in the election of a new president.
By Ned Pillersdorf

My 30 or so hours spent in Ohio on election eve and election day as an attorney observer..

This journey began when I sent $100 and my contact information to the Barack Obama campaign in early February. After receiving hundreds of e-mails and phone calls from the campaign, one item caught my attention. I was offered the opportunity to be a "Counselor for Change." This meant serving as a lawyer observer at the polls on election day in Ohio...

Our instructions were to join four hundred other lawyers at a synagogue in Columbus on election eve for poll observer training...

There was a palpable tension in the air and a laser-like focus on the task at hand: policing the polls on Election Day. Many of the lawyers were from other places. Rather than talk about themselves, there were intense discussions as to the intricacies of Ohio election law, and a general belief that the election would be stolen if we weren't careful. There was also a serious, subdued atmosphere. This was Ohio of course, where four years earlier John Kerry lost the election.

Fittingly, the last speaker at the training... painfully reminisced about what had happened in Ohio four years earlier. While it has been four years, it was clear that to him, it still felt like the pain was inflicted four minutes ago.

I was assigned to Zanesville, Ohio, to be an outside poll watcher. Zanesville is located about an hour east of Columbus. Zanesville is economically distressed, and had just been visited by Joe Biden a few hours before I arrived on election eve. The primary job of an outside attorney poll watcher is to monitor the anticipated long line and offer paper ballots to those who might have to wait too long and leave out of frustration...

I was at my post at 5:45 a.m. to find no line, but a steady stream of voters. Nothing was happening...

Driving home to Kentucky that night, I could not escape the palpable tension and passion that I had observed in Ohio. After initial deep gloom I experienced when it was announced that Obama had lost Kentucky (badly), my mood was instantly transformed with the joyful exhilaration when Wolf Blitzer announced that Ohio had gone for Obama. From that moment my cell phone started ringing. My wife (THAT IS JANET STUMBO) told me that at a Kentucky election party, someone had credited me with the Ohio victory.

There is exactly zero amount of truth to such a pronouncement. To even suggest it, is an insult to the patriotic, unselfish, determined and colorful folks I had observed working for Obama in Ohio. My reward was to have a front row seat to a very small slice of American history...

Ned Pillersdorf is an attorney in Prestonsburg, Kentucky."

NO DOUBT WHERE NED IS AND WHERE NED IS, SO IS JANET. THE BIGGEST CONCERN I HAVE BEYOND JANET'S CONSTANT SUPPORT TO OVER TURN ANY CRIMINAL CONVICTION AND HER HATRED FOR COAL MINING AND COAL MINERS, IS I KNOW JANET WANTS TO VOTE TO HAVE GAY MARRIAGE AS A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT IN KY BEFORE SHE LEAVES OFFICE. IF SHE GETS BACK ON THE SUPREME COURT, SHE WILL GO FOR IT.

It's interesting to understand Ned's opinion of his fellow lawyers "he (Ned) can't stand lawyers. They talk about themselves ... they describe their great legal abilities, they talk about their cars and homes ....." So there you go lawyers, you seem to be self-serving, selfish people, not always wishing the common folks well.

I've known both candidates for several years. She is by far the best. She's always stood for what is fair, and I cannot say the same for Scott.

Her opinion of "fair" is of the same opinion of fair that Obama holds and we all know what his definition is...

Fair? Janet fair? If she is so fair why did she vote to uphold Paul Patton's Worker's Compensation black lung law as constitutional? The law set different medical standard for a coal miner with black lung compared to a brick worker with lung disease from brick dust. They could have the same eat up lungs but the miner could not qualify for disability while the brick worker did. Janet voted that it was ok with her. The law she upheld stopped any miner but only about 3 from 15 years getting disability for black lung. Is that fair? Janet made that possible! Was that fair? Then a few months ago Judge Will T Scott wrote the Supreme Court opinion that to treat a coal miner different than a brick worker from Louisville was UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!! Was Will T Scott fair? Absolutely. He lead the decision that overturned Janet Stumbo's ruling that put so much poverty on us miners. Thank God we got our rights back to be treated the same as any other worker. Thank God for Will T Scott who did it! WILL T SCOTT IS TRULY FAIR TO THE COAL MINER! His vote proved it JANET STUMBO IS NOT FAIR TO THE COAL MINERS! Her vote proved it! She had her chance to give us our rights and all she did was screw us and our families.

Yeah, I read that on line. Maybe that is why he is such a a-hole, he can't stand himself.

Did you know Janet when she voted against miners suffering from Black Lung in the counties that she now wants their votes. So much for being fair. I didn't know lawyers as a "lot" are so arrogrant and thinking about themselves all the time and bragging about their homes and cars. Surely Ned, you know some honest and fair-minded lawyers. You said you can't stand lawyers. Don't you know a single lawyer in your profession that is deserving of any respect? That is a shameful indictment on all lawyers, many of whom are good christian legal counselors.

Janet Stumbo is against coal mining and voted against the miners trying to get black lung. This is a FACT! She also is an extreme lefty who has fought against coal mining for years. Did you know she is on the board Apple Red, which has sued to stop mining time and again? I don't understand her, how can you fight the miners and mining? Seems crazy but she does.

Not when Janet is on a court that votes on my life and community. It tells me what she values and what she believes. She agrees that mining should stop, that gay marriage must be a constitutional right free unlimited abortions , even forcing churches to carry insurance that pays for them, for Obama is doing these very things. If she was not on a court that has the power to order us to do such things it would not matter, but she is and so I care. Get use to it.

Sure Apple Red, is loved by all anti-coal people all across the state. Ned, also,is big pals of past and present leadership in Apple Red. Apple Red makes no bones about it they don't try to sweap it under the rug, they agree 100% with Obama. Apple Red would love to see coal go the way of the Plymouth Pickup truck. So here is a candidate for the Supreme Court lending her name as a member of Apple Red's board. I don't think the hard working, coal minning people and the businesses and their employees and their families that depend on a strong coal market are ready to kiss the mouth that wants to bite them as it were.

I can see why Ned doesn't want to brag too much about his success in Muskingum County Ohio in 2008 on behalf of Obama. John McCain won the county by 53.1% of the total vote, maybe Ned is just proud he gave it the old college try and nothing wrong with that.
Yes birds of like feather flock together. John and Jean Rosenbery are kind and nice people and they went to Ohio also with Ned to work for Obama. The Rosenbergs are plesant people, but they never did understand our people same as Ned and Janet. The Rosenbers have a long history working with Apple Red in declaring war on coal all over East Kentucky. I think, Ned instilled years ago big Liberal New York values of anti-coal, old dirty nasty fuel and same sex marriages etc., into Janet's mind-set.

In last Friday's FC Times the front page lead story is about lawyer Sheridan Martin trying to get his law license reinstated. In the story, Ned P has some very mean-spirited things to say about Sheridan. I don't know Sheridan and I don't know Ned, but when I say what Ned said it made me wonder if maybe he said those awful things because Sheridan Martin is not for Judge Janet Stumbo in her race against Judge Scott for Supreme Court. Anyone know about that?

Ned remember, what seems ages ago, but it actually was only 2006. You jumped on the good people of Right Beaver with both feet, with a bogus charge. There was, so alleged, a problem of the Confederate Flag at Allen Central's High School. Political correction gone crazy as only the Left Wing News Media and Ned can specialize in. The story was told that a Black basketball player from the private David School was supposingly taunted by a player or a fan when the David Player was at the free throw line. Ned was the coach for the David School. Coach Ned proceeded to make a big fuss about the alleged incident and sought others to boycott Allen Central School. The new media protrayed fans as little more than Red Neck Racist. Soon after the Rev. Louis Coleman came all the way from Louisville complaining loudly about how the Confederate Flay was a symbol of slavery. And this is a lie, unless you wrongly conclude that the Civil War was about slavery. Lincoln said that slavery was not the issue. Coleman apparently learned this hogwash from some politically correct Liberal school. Coleman wanted to make enough noise that the people of Right Beaver would hunker down and get rid of their flag. This is the way those on the Left like Jesse and Al operate with no evidence. Then as you may recall later there was a small fly in the buttermilk. Then David School Administrator Emma Kirtz said David School, never voted to boycott Allen Central. She said David School had no problem playing Allen Central High School. There was never any concrete evidence That the Black player was ever taunted by Allen Central. So Ned ended up with egg on his face. Why did Ned create a Mountain (out of the folks of Right Beaver) when there weren't even a "molehill"?

You are right Littlebunny, like Obama and Rev. Wright the Liberal Rev. Coleman seemed to had some interesting associates over the years, among them were the late Anna Braden who with her husband Carl Braden were members of the Communuist Party. So what business did Ned and Rev. Coleman having trying to tell the good patriotic people of Right Beaver section of Floyd County anything?

I have heard - no concrete evidence - that Ned and Janet was against Brent Turner when he ran for Commonwealth Attorney in our county. What difference does this make? Well it makes a big difference. Brent's dad Arnold Turner hired Janet to work for him for years. One would have thought both Ned and Janet would have been hot as a firecracker for Brent out of respect to his father Arnold. I am sure Arnold treated Janet like a daughter while under his tutelage for years. As I said, if this is true both Janet and Ned aren't loyal people and should hang their heads in shame.
