I like dogs, but the wife is a cat person, so not ever owning a cat myself I gave in to having a feline in the house. He is declawed and neut. Now this hairball has been allowed outside when he can be watched due to not being able to defend himself, and while outside he sits under the bird feeder waiting, and for years has tried to catch a bird in his clawless paws,, but he knows he has no claws so must grab his prey between both paws. After about 10 years of trying he finally caught a small bird, he was the CAT ! So proud he came accross the lawn with his prize after years of steadfast perseverence only to drop his bird and it flew off. He was crushed. He is now too old to persue bird catching, but I bet he remembers that day.
So funny! I love cats too. They are so hysterical . My Husband was not a cat lover when we got married. I told him I could not be happy without a cat around, so he said alright,"JUST ONE".
He rescued a kitten one day and fell in love when it looked up at him and put it'd paw on his face. He is a cat lover now and never misses a show called "My Cat From Hell" and always blames the people for the bad cat. LOL! I love it!!!
We have had as many as ten cats at one time, but due to age they have all passed away . Now have five, and three dogs.
They say laughter is the best medicine, if so we should be around for a long time.

Hello, AW. How is dog? Stein says Hi. That is terrible. How in the world can someone copy another's ID. I was scanning the posts and wondering why Abeliever was not posting. What a shame. Those foul-mouthed Scottsville trolls need to be banned.

A couple is in bed sleeping when there's a rat-a-tat-tat on the door.
The husband rolls over and looks at the clock, and it's half past 3 in the morning.Im not getting out of bed at this time," he thinks, and rolls over. Then, a louder knock follows. So he drags himself out of bed, goes downstairs, opens the door, and there's a man standing there. It didn't take the homeowner long to realize the man was drunk.
"Hi there," slurs the stranger, "Can you give me a push?"
"No, get lost. It's half past three and I was in bed," says the man as he slams the door. He goes back up to bed and tell his wife what happened and she says, "That wasn't very nice of you. Remember that night we broke down in the pouring rain on the way to pick the kids up from the baby-sitter and you had to knock on that man's house to get us started again? What would have happened if he'd told us to get lost?"
"But the guy was drunk," says the husband.
"It doesn't matter," says the wife. He needs our help and it would be the Christian thing to help him." So the husband gets out of bed again, gets dressed, and goes downstairs.
He opens the door and, not being able to see the stranger anywhere, he shouts, "Hey, do you still want a push?"
And he hears a voice cry out, "Yeah, please."
So, still being unable to see the stranger he shouts, "Where are you?"
The drunk replies, "Over here, on the swing."
Still telling great jokes LOL

Bush already had the country going down hill like a snowball headed for Hell when the Dems took over Congress. Bush's policies had been bad for six year, why would the Dems support more?
The GM "bailout" was a loan that is either all or mostly been paid back already. Quit trying to make it look like a gift.
If you are against GM building factories everywhere else except the US, then why would you vote for the Republicans who are doing every thing they can to destroy the middle class and have their own third world wages and working conditions right here in the US?
I think the same thing about the DEM's as you think about the Rep's.I am not against GM building factories in China. But why not some here in the US. It was our money, and this their country.{ No, I know it wasn't suppose to be a gift}, Don't we need job here?
You will see who is trying and will succeed to destroy the middle class and the USA if Obama gets re elected, and I believe he will, because he will cheat, and lie and steal the election.
Then we can all say hello to Socialism, Communism and Marxism, and HELL!

Mitt Romney the Bernard Madoff of Politics
Mitt Romney is the Bernard Madoff of politics, in other words the biggest fraud to come along since Richard Nixon got involved in the Watergate Scandal. When it is all said and done we will find out that he used more angles of the Federal Income Tax Code then a Home Builder, building a 68000 sq .ft. home with a 32 car garage.
Did you see that fake the other day with that shopping cart, from a hardware store? Who does he think he is fooling? He isn't a Handyman, Joe the Plummer, or Ace the Hardware Man. He was just putting on a fake show for everyone.
I seen a picture of Romney putting groceries in the back of a black SUV. Who does he think he is fooling? He is no average Joe Blow, running by the Convenient Store, or Kroger for a few groceries to take home. It was all for a FAKE Photo Opportunity. Just more of that Snake Oil Salesman.
Just like his plans for America, he doesn't have any plans, he is accustomed to buying all he wants, and letting someone else do all the work, while he gets all of the credit. He hasn't come up with one single plan to cut the deficit, to curb government spending. He will be just like the last three Republicans that lied and bought their way into the White House. He will be the biggest spender in history, at the same time telling everyone, we need to cut taxes for the wealthiest, so the Middle Class can enjoy the trickle down economics, and enjoy a better economy for all. It never worked under Ronald Reagan, G. H. Bush, nor G. W. Bush. That is exactly the reason, the country was in such a mess and going into the worst depression since 1929, under the Trickle Down Economics of three failed Republican Presidents. Now they want the White House back again to start helping the rich again, help themselves to all of the handouts the government will allow.
Of course it was staged. But didn't the Obama's do the same thing when they went to Wal Marts several months ago, Just like any Regular family, with the press going along for the fun of it? Now that's transparent!!!! They all try to make them selves look good to make us think they are the same as us. All we are to them are useful idiots, and they will throw us under the bus, as soon as they get what they want from us.

I have reading some of your post's and you sound very Anti America to me.
I'm not crazy about the republican nominee, but the alternative is bad for this country. You don't have to agree.

They are bigger liars then what we see on here from most Republicans. They can't be voted out, another liar will rise up and become President. But amything is better then George W. Bush, or anything will be better then Mitt Romney.

I disagree 100%. Dogs CAN talk, you are just listening for a dog to speak some kind of human language. Hence, your misconception that dogs can't talk.

In fact, generally when a dog says something he backs it up with the appropriate body language. Some dogs have such a wide array of vocalizations that the only explanation seems to be they are trying to talk.

My dog uses sign and body language quite well. He undersands "get in the truck" and many other commands. He does not even require a leash. He will not run off.

Quite often when we go places he has not been to in quite a while, he gets really excited. When I get dressed to go out, he goes and lays on my shoes so that I won't forget to take him although I never have. He goes everywhere that I go. I once even took him to Church for a Gospel singing and we sat in the vestibule. But generally he just waits in the truck (when it is not too hot or too cold).

Year before last, when we had the big snow, my daughter, grandson and I went sleigh-riding on a hill next to my home. The next day my grandson was ready to go back and sleigh-ride and I looked out the window to see if the (bon)fire was stll going. 3 or 4 of the neighbors dogs were lying on their backs and sliding down the hill just as we had been doing! It was hilarious. After they slid down the hill, they would return and do it again, just as we had been doing.
