No, different Tussey. George is P-burgs own little man with a big attitude. As far as cops go, there are good and bad. We have had some fine police officers in the past and they served their community without assuming the persona of a jackbooted thug. Jim Lafferty, Woodrow Lafferty, Greg Hall, Bill Potter, Dickie Campbell, Larry Woods, Patrick Conley, Sue Blackburn, Johnny Wright, Craig Kilgore, David Cooley and many others others .... Darrell Conley is still on the job and a more laid back guy you will never know. Gerald Clark turned out okay as did Ralph Frasure (Aside from the flower picking arrest) and Danny Wayne seems to be a pretty good guy as does John Dale. I guess David "D-Con" Caudill was the first I remember who tried to be a bully boy. I do not think crime is at such a rampant level in Prestonsburg as to arrest people for picking a flower (Sorry Ralph, I still think it is funny)or to even warrant carrying a soldier's combat load of weapons and ammunition while on duty. In all of Prestonsburg's history, there has not been one occasion of a single officer facing more than a half dozen men alone, so why do they need to pack more than a good old reliable revolver? I am thinking poor marksmanship might be an issue. That aside, it adds to their super cool Nazi thug boy persona so they can hit on teenage girls and look all bad ass.

Cops just do a job like anyone else. There are good ones and bad ones. People always complain about crime but yet no one will look out for thier neighbor. Neighborhood watches should be up and going. An anoymous tip line shouldbe up too. Those things arent the cops fault its the dumb ass politicians who take tax dollars and spend themon some stupid thing like stonecrest so the poloticians buddy who does the construction can give him a kick back for giving the bid too them. Makes me sick that people blame the cops for this. Its not thier fault that prestonsburg is so corrupt. You people need to stand up and vote for the right people. Ive seen votes bought throughout this county. Ive seen it first hand and at one time had my hand in the cookie jar. But it was wrong and i learned my respect and vote is not for sale. These cops need a break. If the public would help them; vote for the right people and talk to them about whats going on, then our communities would be safer and more of an envious place to the rest of america. People do what they do best now and that is set on thier ass and complain.

By the way im still yet to meet a cop from pburg i dont like. They are all good guys and do a good job.

Hey Fatman, vote buying is a felony and there is no statute of limitations on a felony in ky. So I expect you will practice what you preach and turn in everyone you have information on who bought those votes you witnessed. I'll be watching in the newspaper.

Most, not all, but most Prestonsburg City cops are rude and with them it is "who you know" as to whether you'll be arrested or not. I've seen them not arrest someone who is a friend of theirs who is publically intoxicated and harrassing neighbors at 3 a.m. I have also seen them follow people around town just because they were simply taking a drive at 11 p.m. They are bias and most of them need to be locked up themselves for harrassing innocent people. I am not against cops because I have wanted to be one myself but I am against cops who play favorites.

I think it is self evident throughout any town who handles their appointment of power responsibly and who does not. We had some really great people as cops in P-burg in days gone by. Darrell Conley is the last of the "Old Guard" ..... I am thinking of many of his peers like Jim Lafferty, Woodrow Lafferty, Bill Potter, Dickie Campbell,Hack Thornsbury, Bobby Ranier, Greg Hall, Sue Blackburn... all good folks treasured by the community.
I would like to thank you for posting this comment about the "old guards" bill potter, and hack thornsubury were my uncles and its nice to see that they are remembered for the work they done while they were alive

To anyone who is on here b!thc!ng about Prestonsburg City Police, you do realize that anyone who has a clean background and can pass a drug test, and state pshychological test can go down to the city hall, put in a application and become city police, right? So if you have a problem with the way they are running things around here why don't you quit all your blow holeing and get off your lazy a$$e$ and go become the police, and see if you can do a better job then they are currently doing! These men are severly underpaid and highly overworked! They get out of bed to go out and risk their lives for you and all you can say is mean cruel words! obsivoulsy you are gonna have you good cops, and your gonna have your bad cops, thats with any profession, as civilians we need to overlook the bad cops, and respect our good cops! And in my opinion, this is not very respectful to our good cops! If I had to put money on it, I would say that at least 90% of the people on here posting this $hit has been in some sort or trouble with the police! Thats your fault not theirs, so rather then get on this sorry a$$ website and b!tch about the men who are trying to protect you, why don't you find something better to do with your time?

George Tussey is sexy, but his attitude is what makes him unattractive. I would've rode him into the sunset (lol) that is until I actually met him. It's one thing to see one out and about, it's another to actually MEET them. Not my cup of tea.

What? We need to overlook the bad cops?? Are you crazy?? Thats the problem with this damn place....we"overlook " to much! I know there are some good cops out there, but they are few and far between. I have a great friend who is a city cop and for the most part he's a great cop, but I know one that needs to be OFF the force and i'm tired of "overlooking"! cough, cough, Tussy, cough, cough!

and if u knew anything at all about the city police u would know they change shifts around 4am and are usually there fueling up after or before a shift, and/or grabbing some hot breakfast considering no resturant is open at this time, yea i know mcdonalds opens early or is suppose to but they never open on time
