I wish sundays and holidays still had meaning

I wish Sundays and Holidays still had the meaning that it once had. It seems to me that for some people Sundays and Holidays are only there for their self-serving purposes, not for remembering Christ or his sufferings or for worshiping God. I suppose that just shows you what some people are all about, hiding their evil hearts behind false Christianity. The claims of being a Christian are just for show.
But God is faithful to those that listen to him and the truth has become evident.

Sunday mornings are always great, plus getting to know God on every Sunday is like making a new friend every week. I still love Sat. but Sundays are the best and as God said the day of rest and to worship him and his son.

You know when I wrote this this morning it was because of a particular family who seems to think that Sundays and Holidays are their golden opportunity to start arguments and promote their lies. But now that you mention it...you're right. making a new friend. I suppose that is what really happened. I had a conversation with my best friend again. Im embarrassed that it took someone elses ugliness to get me to do it but still.

Oh yes, how dare us enjoy our sundays and holidays instead of obsessing over the suffering of Christ. I'm sure that's exactly how he'd want us to spend the time he gave us.

Really? That's why you're embarrassed? I'd be much more embarrassed that I had to keep remaking friends with the same person every week.
