The leaders of this group are hurting soccer in the Prescott and Prescott Valley area. Now we hear they are promising to pay fees for high school players if they play for them. This isnt a rumor it is coming from their own players. Is that even legal. They dont care about soccer or players only lining their pockets.
Thank you for telling it

I have grand kids that play in both Prescott and Prescott Valley and players from this league show up and are very disrespectful. I have even seen coaches at the games lurking around looking for players. I believe that everyone has a right to do their own thing but the way this group is approaching it is wrong. They are attempting to steal players and damage the other established leagues in the area. What are they teaching their players and why would parents be involved with a group like this???

How can one be "lining their pockets" if they are letting kids play for free. Think before you post. As they say it is better to be thought of as dumb than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

Sounds like this group is doing right by the kids and I wish more sports were free to play in such a tough times.

Yes you really should think before you post and you removed all doubt. The above post said nothing of lining pockets or playing for free.

They were questioning the offer of paying a players fees at high school for players who play for them. I will bet the governing body of amatuer athletics would be interested in this.....

Here is the whole sentence used "They dont care about soccer or players only lining their pockets" Next read instead of spewing your hatred and bias beliefs.

As for your question about amateurism, it is called finacial assistance, scholarship, humanity, etc.... Happens in youth sports, school (fee lunches), and even at your collegiant level that you are using as a way to try and knock an organization that apparently threatens yours. Are you sure your not from the old communist nation of the Soviet Union. This is America you know. Oh yeah, you do know since this same country allows you to get on a forum and spout off about nonsense in the hopes that 1 person actually is listening to you. Pleasse reply several times under different names to give the illusion that you are not one.

Sorry for the long rant, just hate stupidty even when it is starig the person right in the face " They dont care about soccer or players only lining their pockets." Can you see it now????????

Now CAforniatees are trying, again, to impose CA style 'education' reform by opening a 'play group' in P, PV on CL. Check it out for yourself.Do we need all those CAforniatees dismal failures raping us of money in ARIZONA? Nope, let them escape back to CA and cope THERE, the losers.
A Year Later

Okay, a year later..., Vardar now has 4 registered Teams U12B, U12G, U14G, and U15B. The club has grown by two teams since their inaugural season. The coaching staff has grown with qualified/trained/certified coaches (A few from Embry Riddle University, and local High School coaches). They even have one of the MOST respected instructors and soccer authors providing clinics this summer, Coach Larry Paul (google "Larry Paul Soccer").
ALL of the above critical posts ARE FALSE, and authored by parents, players, coaches of other soccer clubs or organizations in the Quad City Area. They fear the mystical act of "player stealing", not realizing that the players and their parents make an educated decision to join any soccer club. I am really impressed with VARDAR Soccer -- to stick it out here amongst the vitriol they endured. Go VARDAR SOCCER! Keep growing and doing what you're doing.

It would be great for the community if Vardar & Yavapai Soccer League would join forces. Both clubs have the recourses to organize a youth soccer club to compete at the state level. I hope that someday this becomes reality.

The 2012 Manchester United Premier Cup U.S. Finals has been filled with excitement, fair play and some highly contested matches. All of the participating teams have showcased their talents and proved why they are the elite teams in the U.S. On the boy’s side, Real So Cal from Southern California, and Vardar, representing Michigan competed in this year’s final. Real So Cal continued to display the talent and form they showed throughout the tournament in defeating Strikers FC (Cal South) 2-0 in the semi-finals. Vardar prevented an all Southern California final by defeating Fullerton Rangers 2-1 in the other semi-final in one of the most entertaining matches of the tournament. The winner of the boys division will travel to Shanghai, China in July to compete in the Manchester United Premier Cup World Final! The winning team will have a chance to not only represent their club and their state, but they will also represent the United States against the best teams the world has to offer.

I wonder what Yavapai (Sterling) has to say about Vardar, I mean RG now. JS are you still coaching with Yavapai?
