I hope chief Herrera knows what he is getting the town into. According to the media he is wrong. He arrested for cigarillos (kush, grape, and other flavors. He needs to get educated about the law . How can cigarillos be illegal. He is one stupid man.

All of you need to get educated including the cheif. If you people saw the news you would know that cigarillos are not illegal nor do they contain any synthetic substance. The cigarillos had the kush brand that is true but they are no different than any other cigarillis such as swisher sweets. So to the cheif - fuck you and go back to mexico. As for the mayor- you might want to consider resigning because the parties involved have a legit lawsuit against you

If the clerk(s) had the authority to consent, then the search is valid. Under Texas law, you do not need a search warrant if the proper party consents to the search. Before you talk about warrants on this website, I think you need to educate yourself on warrantless searches and seizures.

Nope, the Chief asked if they sold kush and the clerk said yes, that's all he needed, no warrant necessary. Why are some of you idiots defending drug dealers that are ruining our kids?l

defending our rights ...,and wheres the kush that they were selling. Sounds if they the (cops) thought it the kush was in there end of story ,they go to jail and the chIef looks good in the paper well you thought wrong. No mistakes just a wrong choice you have 281 to catch real drug dealers why destroy a premont business that was here before you chief. Sounds if you got something against the store..
