College kids might read a lot, but I seriously doubt you can read past the 2nd grade level. At least you can't spell past the 2nd grade level.
Did the headland cops use a drone to shoot the unarmed person? I doubt it, so who cares for you or your illiterate comments?
So traffic goes around Headland rather than speeding thru it, running red lights and causing all sorts of problems to us 'locals'.
Most of them are either getting drunk on their way to the beach, or trying to sober up on their way home from the beach.
Do you honestly think Headland actually benefits from drunken college students flying down 431 on the way to the beach?
If they need gas, then can get it for 5-10 cents a gallon cheaper just 3 miles further down the road in Dothan.
If they want a 'decent' meal, they'd probably just wait till they got to the beach and eat at a REAL resturant.
The only thing Headland gets from anyone speeding thru on the way to the beach is the revenue generated from the speeding tickets and DUIs.
No one is innocent.
maybe you can pick it up if you got a tv or if you got any power if not save you enough to buy you a paper .and guess what we big college kids drive fancy cars that you maybe have never know they were made get you abook and read about daddys girls and boys to bad you aint got college you could be like us college kids dad buys our gas and pays our college you just jelious you cant come with the best and for the speeding oh our cars got special wings we can flyby you if we need to so go tell your old lady you wish you were a college kid and not a little bo peps.all headlent wots is to see our Purdy ladies . and for your inf they shot a unarmed man and two bary5s could not put maybe a 165 pound man in a patrol car alive. we rember that day buster and the family lost a good man it was sad to all of us who care for people white or black. maybe better than you will ever be everone knows about it now they tell us they maybe will never forget what the old croks did. we hear the first man on scene was big well maybe he needs to get in shape and the other well if two people cant get one person to the hospital safe they maybe need to be working at a dest job counting pennies .with all the stuff croks tote say handcuffs, tasers, billy clubs who know maybe what elese. maybe they need better people at the top spot. and maybe you need more people in a single car try four maybe with 2 cars with a total of 8 the man would still be living today may god bless him.

fla. and we are looking at what is going on well we had a case in headland Alabama and we lost a real good man. we will never forget that day and some of us think about what if this was our kinfolk in headland that was shot by a cop and the man only weight maybe 165 pounds and this man was unarmed this is so sad for alot of people and yes the man that was shot was a black person but some of us white people think of him as just one of us white people we try to help anyone. we do not discriminate.from people being different colors or any other type of people.we heard that this man was shoot by a cop and then we hear the man maybe was not taking his meds. but why was this man killed why with two cops and all the stuff they have such as tasers . handcuffs .billy clubs who knows what else they maybe have. in my own opinion this man should had been took to the doctor are to the hospital. and not just shot and died.well if two police can not put a 165 pound man in a patrol car and get him safe to someone that maybe could have saved this person life. and we hear the first cop on the scene. was the way we read was a rather a big person.well In my own view I see what is going on in Stanford fla, well after all is over in florida.after we hear what happens in fla. this stuff that took place in headland.in my own opinion .this case should be look at again. then read what else has taken place in that town just in the past few days. and they maybe more that people just never maybe hear about. maybe its time for a new person to maybe try to get this place maybe under control.

In an unrelated investigation, Midland City Police Chief Keith Walker said police charged 43-year-old Keith Rinehardt, a Headland police officer, with second-degree domestic violence-menacing and felony shooting into an occupied vehicle.
Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson said Rinehardt remains held at the Dale County Jail without bail until a bail hearing at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Walker said the charges stemmed from Midland City police responding to a report of shots fired at a home in the 100 block of Dale County Road 75 just before 7 a.m. Saturday.
“Two officers responded to the scene, and he was outside at that time,” Walker said.“When they saw he was armed they backed off.”
After they arrived and saw Rinehardt was armed with a handgun, he apparently went back inside the home.
Walker said after several other area law enforcement agencies responded to assist Midland City police officers, Rinehardt surrendered without incident. Walker said there was no hostage or barricaded incident involved.
“It was a domestic dispute with his wife,” Walker said.“It was mostly a verbal argument between the husband and wife, and it escalated to him going out to the car and getting the gun and shooting it.”
Walker said the gunshot struck a passing pickup truck, but no one was injured. He said if no weapon was used, no felony charges would’ve been filed.
Walker also called the incident alcohol related.
Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to assist the Midland City Police Department, including the Dale County Sheriff’s Office, Ozark Police Department, Dothan Police Department, Wiregrass Violent Crimes Drug Task Force, Alabama State troopers and the Headland Police Department.
Headland Police Chief Mark Jones told the Eagle over the weekend that he and other officers went to collect Rinehardt’s badge, vehicle and other police equipment on Saturday.
Jones could not be reached Monday to comment on Rinehardt’s official status as an officer with the Headland Police Department.
“I’ve known Keith for a long long time,” Walker said.“We’ve had no other calls there.”
Rinehardt has held a variety of law enforcement positions over the past four years, including chief of the Midland City Police Department. Rinehardt later served as the Newton Police chief and later went to the Headland Police Department
