Obviously this girls parents have no clue how to do their job. Someone who is 14 shouldn't be drinking, let alone drinking and driving. Where were her parents in all of this? Obviously not at home teaching their teenage daughter any morals.

Well, in response to Chase's comment, the driver was indeed 14 at the time of the accident. The driver's name is Hanna Yager. At this time, she is still considered an under age driver, but that is still in the court system. How ever, what is most interesting is the Clayton School District's willingness to cover for someone considered for vehicular homicide charges. We were at the Board Meeting tonight, and one gentleman asked a question about the handbook handed out to students and was promptly shouted down by the board.

Seems like its time that justice is taken back to the people.

an observation does not mean they knew his alcohol content! There were lots of people there who were drinking that night...did they take breathalizer tests??? You are a pain in the butt Ron, you know NONE of the facts.

I was at the scene sir. I spoke with the sherrifs dept. and assisted in the report as a first reponder. Is there any other pertinent info you must know? have some compassion for the people involved instead of blaming others and listening to all the hearsay. If we blamed drinking on all the accidents I have been called on, I would venture to guess that "at least" 90% of them had alcohol on their breath to some degree.
