Want to Move Away From Grant County?

Hello to all of you lucky people!
Don't be in such a rush to leave Grant County. It's a nasty, unforgiving world out here. You need to be "very prepared" to start a life somewhere else.
I had no idea what I was doing when I moved away. I wish I was back in the beautiful, green, and simple paradise! You might not think so but, it is true!
The cost of living is horrible and the hostility is unbearable. Dreams are crushed and so is everyday living. I would not do it, if I could go back! But, I can't afford it and I don't have the strength to pack and move.
Make sure you know what's really out there before you go! The loss of connections and identity is enough to make you want to die!
You are truely lucky to be there and not out here!

EXACTLY what your talking about!
I grew up in Los Angeles County.
I was like living in a living Hell on Earth.
I HAVE TO go there to visit every once in awhile
because of relatives that cannot get their homes
sold to get the HELL out of there!
My brother is passing away, slowly from an attack
he suffered.
It is not even like the United States anymore in Southern California.
People are soooo Delusional that think that it's so kewl in So.Cal, and when they get there, and
they look around and finally SEE what it's really
like and have to PAY to live there, they regret it
often.
If your a super wierd freak though, you would like it, that's until you become a crime victim, as you certainly WILL if you go down there to live thinking it's all fun in the sun.
Let em' go and find out. They will cry like a kid that get's locked up in prison for the first night and want to get the heck outta' there.
I don't know how I survived my first 18 years of life down there?
I left on my 18th birthday and NEVER regreted it!
If you Love Affirmative Action, are nice and Dark skinned, have a good minority last name, speak Spanish or an Asian language, have lot's of money to throw at rent/mortgage payments, go for it.
BUT, if your NOT one of these above, for the Love of Pete, Don't try and force your poor kids to have to grow up down there if they don't fit into the above criteria, it would be the cruelest thing you could ever do to them!
