Pastor's paddling of son center of debate in court
The question of whether paddling a youngster hard enough to cause bruises is child abuse was up for debate Thursday in a Columbia County courtroom.

we have to raise our own children, if we don't teach them the way to go in life how are they going to end up later as adults. paddling is not bad, it is way to teach dicipline

This is an outrageous and absurdly frivolous prosecution. Wisconsin has a reasonable force law allow parents to physically punish their kids, but Wisconsin DA's have a long history of pretending it doesn't exist. Concerned parents and others should join the CP Prosecutions list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cp_prosecutions
