"State police assures me they will hit their target, but I can't be so sure they're going to hit their target every time especially when they'll be shooting all day long", he says… This is a matter of public safety. You standing here, the child on the school bus", he says.

Has this man ever been to a range? Has he ever fired at one? How far is his home from the proposed range?

Does he know the distance the bullets can travel?

Has he seen the design of the proposed range?

The answer to all these questions is no, I don't know.

He is worried about something that has no bearing on the range. His property value. He cares not for public safety. Sounds just like the Liberat dictators that didn't like the American flag being flown on a flag pole in Col. Barfoot's front yard.

It is NOT all about you Mr. Ford. You speak about things you have no idea about.

Oh yeah, the state doesn't need your permission to build it.

Go find another project to complain about. LOL

Yes, they need a shooting range there bad. It will be much safer for everyone living there if the thugs can hit their target.

You people need to "suck it up", these ranges are built safely with large berms for back stops, and there will be strict supervision by trained personel. Further this is one of the Premier law enforcement outfits in the country so as I have already said "suck it up" and let these folks have their training area and range!!!!

the state spent $210,000 dollars already on land development for this range. So they cave to the locals. WASTE of STATE MONEY

Jim are you sure that the VSP are a good organization? Are they honest? Can they really be trusted? Do they really care? Are they better than the HCPD?

Yup I believe they are honest and can be trusted as for HCPD they were a decent outfit when I lived in the Strawberry Hill area in the late fifties but have had no contact since thus cannot offer an opinion. However it is my considered opinion that the VSP is a good outfit with good leaders and in most cases do an excellent job,we just need more patrolling the highways!!!

why did the same delegates who oppose the range, previously approve the building of the range by signing a bill allowing the funding for said range is that specific location. Sounds like typical slimy politicians.
