mad butcher murders????

I just bought a house in the oak hill area, read about the murders, I am just a lover of a good mystery story, what's your opinion?

There are a series of books about unsolved
murders in the upper Kanawha valley.

Some are recent and some are decades old.
All are totally creepy.
I've read several of them.
I know I have read or heard of these
murders but I can't remember which one
this is.

Is it the ppl who were found cut up
along the road on Gauley Mountain?

yes I believe but there was some sort of connection to this town Montgomery, and maybe cannibalism, that may be two diff cases?

I was told about one that had connections with
Montgomery and the hospital.....I think (unless I
misunderstood) that that one had something to do
with the family that founded the hospital.

I just heard that one here...last yr. And I used to
work there and lived here in this area my whole life.

The one on Gauley Mt....correct me if I'm wrong
someone....they thought was someone killing
hitchhikers and dumping the bodies on the side
of the road.

Never solved of course.

the CB about a body found yesterday
at Fallsview....or maybe the falls at
Gauley.

I didn't get the details just that a body
was found there.

I think they are called Unsolved Murders of the Upper
Kanawha Valley....
Maybe the library has them.
My oldest son used to have 2 or 3.

It's kinda creepy that we have so many
unsolved, weird murders in this valley
that there is a series of books on it.

my father went to school at tech and had no idea.

Is the billboard still there in Oak Hill area about the missing kids from years ago that were never found after their house burned down?? I was always fascinated by that. Wonder if they ever discovered what really occurred??

I have one of the paperback books of some of the Unsolved Murders in WV. It is a large paperback. Would love to read more.

The board was taken down after the kids were found.
I think they were all found...or maybe most all of them.
Grown adults.
They were abducted before the house was set on fire.
I can't remember who did it but I think the kids
ended up adopted out to other families.

Someone had a grudge and took the kids then set
the house on fire.

I grew up wondering about those kids as well.
The story is a fascinating one that is for sure.

That was my father in law. And no one killed him if you get the drift. It's been a hard month and a half. It was kanawha falls. The ones right before gauley.

I have heard so much about those books, I tried to get them at the Montgomery Public Library but the librarian told me that they were unavailable. She said people would check them out and never bring them back, told me they had re-ordered them five times and weren't going to order them again...I did, however, find a couple on e-bay about unsolved WV murders, but not the ones specifically about Fayette/Kanawha County...

You can get them at the a gas station beside Dairy Queen in Fayetteville. Plus all kinds of other books about WV
