To be clear, I did not "suggest" that the City of Powell replace its police department with the county sheriff. Merely, I went through all departments in the City and put forth ideas for cost-saving measures. In fact, I stated many times throughout the meeting that these were IDEAS and that we needed to discuss them all to see what the residents want to do. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Yes, many would be wise to not dare question Mrs. Brenner. The path to power by the Brenners is littered with the destroyed souls of those who stood in their way. There shall be no bumps in the road of the much desired voyage to the Governor's mansion for the Brenners. She will make Andy Governor one day and does not need peasants and those not nearly as enlightened and insightful as her standing in the way. Simply marvel at her ideas but don't dare hold her accountable.... She is just throwing ideas out there... One Power Point slide at a time... Almost 40 slides worth, don't ya know! Come on, she worked REALLY hard at those slides. One of her many self appointed titles is a marketing and PR expert. How dare you question her?!?!

Take heed. Take heed.

In addition to your "backtracking" the 2 hour meeting was a complete waste of time to hear your "ideas". The only thing accomplished was the public display of your stupidity Sara Marie Brenner. You are making a name for yourself.

How dare any of you! She is a campaign and marketing genius. She single handedly got her husband elected. She is a powerful woman. I mean, to have so many businesses and titles, be on council AND make sure to write Andy his notes every day for his job as a State Rep... You just don't appreciate her abilities.

Stop questioning and simply say thank you. Thank her for her common sense. Local cities should not provide such wasted services like police protection and parks. That should be left to a larger government agency like the county, state or federal government. Sara Marie will not allow herself to be portrayed as some politician who believes in local government control of communities! Oh no. She will continue her fight to turn over local contol to larger, obviously more able levels of government.

I'm with you Sara Marie... Big governments needs to be in more control of the local municipalities. Where do cities and towns get off thinking they know what is best? I mean, how dare they spend local tax dollars locally when that money could just be distributed equally across the county, state, or even better, the country. Keep up the great ideas!

I'm sure the local Tea Party will be proud of your stance of less local control. I mean that is what that movement is about, right?
oh yea

Another of her IDEAS was to get rid of the professional management of having a City Manager in Powell, and have an elected Mayor run the City instead. Of course, she didn't say on Feb 8 she wanted to be that Mayor, but she indicated to "friends" even before she was elected to Council that she hoped to be the elected Mayor when she got the form of government changed. The lady has big plans!!

Prestige Music Studios is owned by Sara Brenner and is located within the City of Powell. Take a look at the Better Business Bureau website and see the rating of "F" her business is rated and why it is. Form your own opinion about her "ideas" about how SHE wants to run the City of Powell.

Wow, she sure has made her enemies, and there are some bitter people out there.

I'm not going to defend her, but Powell is not a flawless community. There have been plenty of ridiculous expenses and decisions the city has made over the years, and we are suffering because of that. I have to look no further than out my front window, where the city came in and removed two of my perfectly good trees last year.

So don't make it sound like everything is wonderful here and that some 'crazy outsider' is trying to come in and upset this perfect balance.

. Wow. Two perfectly good trees? That must of been a slow day in powell for the big city to worry about removing two perfectly good trees. Next time could you send them to my house I have a few BAD trees I would like removed for free.

Hey Westerville, should you maybe worry about Westerville? Yur remarks sound kind of hateful. Maybe everyone should stand back, and see what the VOTERS that voted down the tax levy may have to say. Let's see what the State of Ohio is doing.

The cities listed on here are based on where your ISP is, not where you are when typing... I'm Not in Westerville... I'm in Powell. Why didn't you tell Sara Maie to worry about Columbus... Her post says Columbus.

And i am not hateful. I am telling everyone to stop questioning her. She knows better than we do. We should be thankful that she is here to be the lone voice of brilliance.
