Meth ring bust nets 6 arrests in Paris

PARIS, TX - Six Paris residents were arrested this week in connection with a meth ring.

Paris Police say they have been monitoring the operation for several months.

With the help of the ATF, the DEA, and the Secret Service, police arrested Rocky Glenn Sikes, James Michael Murray, Deborah Lynn Jackson, Ronald Gene Winn, Shawn Wayne Austin and Keith Eric Kent.

All will now face federal charges for drug trafficking.

Sad that it is here and even sadder that they use syringes to use it which spread terminal deadly disease to your youth and those unaware such as HIV, and HEP C. I've heard that lots of the meth produced today is also much more poisonous that that produced when they prophenanolamine such as found in the banned Travist D decongestants. It was easily changed to propehnanol. It like taking a new car and running it as fast as the motor will go for days, don't they know the body will not last in these conditions. And those who use often develop criminal lives.

How do you know they use syringes it can be smoked or snorted or eaten and you seem to know a lot about the ingredients are you the cook ,How many people have the cause if death listed as meth and how many people recently have died of bath salts or have been hospitalized for bath salts just curious,I don't know any ingredient for either so please keep us informed and most likely they just got a bunch of addicts and not the real supplier,if they got the real supplier they would have to arrest theirselves LOL

They need a better game plan, go after the big players, not just the fans. Maybe someone will snitch on the big dogs to cut a deal. Amazing how the citizens of this town who don't use any drugs know more about where the stuffs being dealt than the police. I don't get it. I would almost bet that most everyone on topix could take an officer to somewhere in their neighborhood and point out the houses running dope. If average drug free citizens know what's going on, why can't it be stopped?

What is bath salt, is it like epsion salt? Never heard of any such thing, but I'm probably out of date on the latest and newest. Tell me more about how this product works. Most of my information was from Google and I've had people I know deal with the old Meth which was real from 20 yrs ago. Watch Cops someday and they will literally tell you how they cook and show you labs. Interesting show except for all the blacks shooting each other over that rock, which I believe is just a little cocaine and a lot of baking soda. It can be broken down they said by adding any acid vinagar and lemon juice and injected also. But please tell me about the SALT is it injected or drank or put up you a**? I agree they know but we don't have an undercover operation that actually buys. I'm glad to see the West Gate delimia gone where they were selling that crack baking soda cocaine smoked mess right in front of the police. I think most of the residence of the project knew this. I knew a guy that stayed in the PJC dormatories who took a taxi there to get anything he wanted 24/7. It is sad and I agree with you, surely the police do a good job, but there only touching the ice bergs tip.
