FFFinger, obviously you are just bored. lol In the over all scheme of things, it doesn't really matter what I NOR you think in regard to that goofball. I find the words YOU have chosen to be rather interesting. The thought that EVERYONE would raise your children is IDEAL(..naive idealist..) to you? Holy Smoke!!!!! The thought that you would even give any credence to ANYTHING she said makes the word "evil" rather benign, in my opinion.
Maybe I worded it clumsily... I don't want children raised by committee - that would be a disaster.

What I do want is to raise the standards of the worst kids but not to the detriment of the best kids. It's not like this is an 'out-there' goal.

I agree with this, however, the FAMILY of those less fortunte have to support bringing THEMSELVES up. I am a bit tired of being expected to do it all while those closest to it just coast along continuing the same destructive behavior. It doesn't take a village( and shouldn't) to raise a child, however; it takes family cooperation. I am tired of people who live below the poverty level complaining about it and THEN having more children that they obviously can't afford and don't seem particularly concerned about it. Before anyone jumps on the bandwagon that they can't AFFORD birth control, don't bother. THAT'S RIDICULOUS and NOT TRUE. There are ways to acquire birth control without it costing a cent.

I'm of the opinion we shouldn't even have to talk about birth control. If you can't afford it, don't have sex! Or, plan properly!

There are MANY ways to prevent conception, one of them is to not have unprotected intercourse (duh). Seems many people don't comprehend that...

They conprehend it. They just don't worry about. THEN they feel "dumped" on because they don't have what others have. They feel mistreated and jump on the "let's HATE the evil rich" merry-go-round thinking they deserve more than what they have. What I doubt they comprehend is THEIR responsibility for their situation. Their thinking seems to be, "If I want to have more children, that's MY business". Then if they can't support those children, it's supposed to be MY business. And THAT is why they vote Democrat!

I hate to bring this up but many poor single mothers are on welfare and have many children out of wedlock. These mothers have found that the more kids that they have, the larger the welfare check becomes. They government pays extra for each child that they have.

Of course, I already know that. It's all part of the "Make them dependent on the government and keep the liberals in the White House" strategy. It has been working for years.

Yep. And those "classy" women tend to vote liberal...

Not surprised, are you?

Those of us “with” have an obligation to assist those “without”. No judging as to their worthiness.
