This is the most stupid thing ive ever heard. He's 16 years old! If you don't like the way a 16 year old drives. then f-in up the driving age Cobb County! I sure hope you're never driving and someone in your car dies. Think about that a little while!!!!!!!!!!

this is absoloutly insane! it WAS AN ACCIDENT!! I've never in my life heard somthing so stupid! COBB COUNTY DA IS REDICULUS! I agree with the comment above me.. Cobb, think about all the "murders" youd have if you charged everyone that has had a carwreck causing a death.. its rediculus. He has to wake up every day without his mother.. thats bad enough. If this carrys on... youll NEVER hear the end of it . The mosley family just had a funural.. dont make them suffer the arrest of zach FOR AN ACCIDENT . Deal with the REAL crimes and not charge a 16 year old boy for something that wasnt his falt. Accidents happen. Take care of all the rappists and the real murders out there , this is just the outcome of a power whore using it the wrong way.

This atrocity is just another example of how society has deteriorated to an all time low. The police department should be ashamed of themselves for filing charges- especially vehicular homicide. This is just a tragic accident and this ignorant department needs to exhibit some common sense and leave this family alone to mourn their loss.

Unbelievable.
atrocious

I agree. I have never heard of anything so ridiculous and atrocious. It's just plain cruel to Zach. He lost his mom! Let him grieve that horrendous lost in and of itself, without having to worry about charges that are the most insane thing I've ever heard of. He probably already feels guilty, although he SHOULD not, and now Cobb County is adding to his emotional and pyschological burden he has to carry the rest of his life. It was an accident. Everyone i have spoken with has said was a difficult turn that is, on top of your view being blocked. His mom even said go, because it looked clear. Cobb County please have mercy on this innocent child!!

The police have no choice but to file the charges.

Unfortunately, the right thing isn't always the popular thing. It is just the way it has to be.

I'm wondering if the accident happened at the interaction of Dallas and the avenues?

Um "the RIGHT thing isn't the popular thing?"
U must b in law enforcement where they brainwash u into THEIR "right way" of thinking which equals $$$.

You're right there, Einstein! Because it should be LEGAL to abuse children and all. The police just brainwash their cops to make them think it's illegal to do it. They're all out to get you, aren't they? Unbelievable stupidity here!
Tyhe sentence is too harsh, yes. But to suggest that the cops are brainwashed? You're a liberal, everyones out to get me and I'm a victim and helpless and too stupid to earn my own wayso have to get a welfare check which equals $$$, person aren't you?
Silly question. Obviously you are!
