Yes, really really REALLY closed!:) Now we have a "CLOSING SOON!" store off Hwy 5... that place should really really REALLY close. I hate all these couple month stores.

Maybe we need another bank or corner drugstore. I doubt if there are any corner lots still available that doesn't have a drugstore on it. That isn't counting all the pharmacies in department stores and super markets. What is the deal with all the pharmacies in this area? Is there that many sick people in Douglasville?
Oh, durn. I forgot about the banks and the corner drugstores. How could I? I agree with you.

Hmmm...on one hand there are lots of sick people. Perhaps on the other there are sick people with money. We need to get to know these people. Sick people with money often have wills.:)

I know I donít have a shot in hell for it to be any of the stores I want. I would like it to be one of the following:
Lacoste(Thereís not one store in the mall that sell it.)
Armani exchange
Nordstrom

I know big hopes and dreams and it will never happen, but we got an H&M now I think we are moving up. Lol

TJMaxx would be nice but since there is already a Marshall there I donít see that happening.

The company that owns TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods do occasionally place them together. The TJ Maxx and HomeGoods in Cumming are next door to each other. In Austell HomeGoods TJ Maxx are in the same center with Marshalls being across the street.

IT could happen.:)

Nordstrom would be nice, but I enjoy the drive.

Something tells me that a county that can't "land" a Steak and Shake is NOT going to "land" a Nordstrom. Oh, well.

LOL.....well, you "can" find a deal there. I don't blame you.

There's a "Total Wine" up near Town Center mall. We need a nice wine store....with wine tastings, etc.

I wonder if they will carry my favorite brands in milk cartons like the Shell station. I think that putting wine in bottles is just another way to get a person to spend a lot of extra money. Sometimes I find some real bargains at $2.99 a carton.

Oh, Dave...say it ain't so. Wine in a carton? LOL.... I knew you were a fun guy. I need to have lunch with you and Mrs. Dave again real soon.

I do like the two buck chuck bottles from Trader Joe's....best table wine around. I don't think I've ever had carton wine.

We need to do the wine crawl thing lol....I bought wine at Aldi a couple of times. Once, I was trying to buy the cheapest for some cooking, I accidentally bought the most expensive they had. It was over the wrong shelf label. But, their expensive is cheaper than most. I got over it

Looks like Douglasville got a new store on Fairburn Road "Bargain Barn"; that is the type of store Douglasville supports. If you are looking for Nordstrom or even Stein Mart you need to look elsewhere, not in the cards for Douglasville.

Unfortunately I think you are right for the time being at least; those shoppers are saving money.
