What do you mean another murder? The last murder was a couple months ago, back in May I believe, in Arbor Station two men gunned down and killed another young man (drug related)and I have not heard of any other murders.

I couldn't get the link to work. Are you SURE it's Douglas County and not another Douglas?

Okay. The link worked this time. That is horrible. I was with a bunch of DC teachers today and I am sure none of them had heard because it wasn't brought up.

So sad! It said her last name was Parvu. It really doesnt give any details though. I would like to know her age, what school she worked at, how she died.

Why does Douglas County Sentinel not report any of this news that is going on in our county???????

Ms. Parvu was a 3rd grade teacher at sweetwater elementary. Prayers with her family.

Anon, I think you may have your information mixed up a tad bit. I haven't noticed that my county is a rising "hiphop" county. I think you must mean a different county. It's hard to tell though due to your mispellings.

But if you are meaning the county I live in, well you need to know that my family planted it's roots here back when it was Campbell County and no amount of "hip hop" or ignorant backward talking kids can rip my roots up and make me leave. But bless your heart honey, keep trying, and I'll keep laughing.

I guess I'm the only one who figured anon was trying to be funny by imitating someone who speaks poorly and hasn't quite learned how to spell...

that's not Ebonics... Ebonics is more about the use of slang words than it is about spelling incorrectly and not knowing how to correctly pronounce words.

I new he was trying to be funny.. It kinda made me chuckle. On the other hand, It's sad to hear about that teacher. The good thing is that I'm pretty sure the man is still in custody. He was only charged with concealing it at first, but since they've ruled it a homicide, I'm sure he'll be the prime suspect. You have to give credit when credit is due, and DCSO deserves it for the arrest. At least they are trying to do something for this community.

You can also see a lot of stuff on the DCSO website under the news section.
