Why is it the counties place to buy your house? You knew all along you lived in a flood plain.Had you taken some responsibility and bought FLOOD INSURANCE, you would have your "buyout" and your house, instead, you wanted the cheap way out, got FLOODED out, had no insurance, and now you want ME , another tax payer to "Buy you out" sorry chum, in a grown up responsible world, santa claus doesnt leave christmas gifts.I have insurance, I hope a tornado DOES come thru my neighborhood, I will be sitting pretty.LAck of planning on your part, doesnt constitute an emergence on MINE
