For those of you who live in the area, what does "Pomerado" mean? I recall seeing it before, somewhere on the web, but can't find it now. I know it's not Spanish, but a combination (at least, what I was told) of POway RAncho Bernardo and something else.

Can anyone help!?

Okay, so here may be a dumb question, but where is Merton?! I have never heard of that area in my life! I asked my dad, and he has never heard of it eithe! So where is it?!

If memory serves, Merton was a small community just south of Poway (and west of Sycamore Canyon?) which has since been swallowed up by development. Not much information available about it.
