AMEN !!! We would all be much better off everyone was high and drunk. Just think of the employment opportunities : Pound 66 would need to hire at least a dozen more roll-back drivers, and Brock's Body Shop and Baker Funeral Home would have to increase thier facilities at least 10 fold. Not too mention the increased employment at the police department. Pound Rescue Squad would also need more staff than could be accomplished by a volunteer force and would need to hire full time EMT's. WOW - YOU ARE A GENIUS !!!

Dear UD,

I have been wanting to ask you something. WHY did you answer my post on Pine Mountain so thoroughly then immediately stopped talking, just stopped even thought you said,"I look forward to a..." discussion on the matter.

Kind of left me hanging, so to speak. You have lots of info, more than you shared that time. I'll set-up a yahoo mail account so we can work on this together...if you are willing.I and a small group of outdoorsman are planning some "field work" soon. We could use help. If you are interested, lemme know, OK?

I would be thrilled to know how you can blame a post on Topix for vandalism.

No one I know of has suggested breaking any laws or trespassing. The Mountain is 100 miles long and mostly public land so go blow your hole somewhere else.

If you buffoons don't stop the threats you'll get some real attention. So go away now or I will kick you.

..and your mama is under surveillance.

You are really starting to piss me off. Keep up your threats such as,"we know where you live" and I will take the case to the authorities. Over and over you keep stammering that,"this is private land".
Are you crazy , stupid or both? It is persons like you that make an excellent argument for abortion.

You say," The trail is open to everyone". Well, thank the hell out of you for allowing the trail, your personal property, to be used by us white folk. Thank ya' suh.

Just who is this "we", anyhow? It is NOT a public group yet you have already mentioned "trail meetings" and since about three people have anything to do with that, I can assume all involved are guardians of the Shrine.

The trail is for some, not everyone WANTS to "stay on the path"...so to speak. YOU make the path and expect idiots to stay on it. Cute. It keeps people from going into wild areas....well, some people.

And you people treat the place as your personal shrine. WE say you have killed and robbed enough. You get so very afraid every time the bloody place is mentioned it is obvious the "WE" you speak of have some very old, very dark secrets.

If you want, spew out more threats. I will bring your whole group into the LIGHT of DAY, not of "little lucifer", your most worshipful master. I love chaos. Want some? You are going to get it. The way I see it, you have already done enough to deserve it.

What ARE you going to do when 10 vehicles come in, full of passengers from all sides and proceed to go to every site you so jealously guard, hmmm? Are you going to shoot us all? You can't toss us over a hill like Sam. We will not be alone and will not be drinking.

AND we will NOT be breaking any law! It is being planned, your threats just speeds-up the timetable. You cannot stop lawful exploration of sights found by....well, it isn't dirt-cheap but it is amazing what a few hundred bucks can get you. Just look at your daughter.

Now, come and "get me" since you know where I live and all.

If that were true you wouldn't have the balls to run your hole.

I'll say it again, though. The more threats, the more action. For every pseudo-threat you spout I will PERSONALLY add $100 to the project kitty. Things are already in motion that cannot be stopped but they are not your concern. Yet.

The truth is too strange for fiction. You know this, have profited from it and have sworn an oath of secrecy to be "in on it". You don't have to go through all of that, pal. With IR imaging, just follow the air...

Sorry, a new aeon is already here and you have been sleeping. The old Temple is found.

Wow. That sounds like something out of a movie. Handlebar mustaches? Most of them would you say or one or two? All dressed exactly alike? Speaking "silver" and "rough riders" out loud...
Silver is nice but it has little or nothing to do with the secrecy, unless someone is mining it!

Twelve rough riders (Teddy Roosevelt's regiments name) in dark dress ride horses into a circle, exchange words and in twenty minutes are gone..yeah, that would be odd but I don't know about scary. More like weird. They seemed to be in the wrong century.

All I know is there are more "modern" guardians with no regard for truth, our future and the safety of innocent people. They stumbled into a group of local mafia that have existed probably since the 19th century. No matter, in 2012 it seems that local, state and federal agencies all turn a blind eye to the private police force on the Northern half of Pine Mountain.

They have pushed us around long enough. Public land is just that. If they can't accept this there will be problems ahead. Gee, I think it may be a TERROR CELL of DOMESTIC TERRORISTS assembling an armed, racist/white supremacist MILITA with automatic weapons..50 caliber weapons have been seen by witnesses in stored, long-term "caches". This has been done since the '70's, at least.

You didn't see any blacks or asians on those horses did you? Any women? he..he..

i agree melvin sometimes the worst members of the population can ruin good things. there are some interesting things on this ridge and thousands of hollows. i remember rattle snake hunting in dickenson county on this ridge dryland fishing, hunting, and also a great date place for real hillbilly women if you know what i mean. but most of these yahoos are all huff and puff dont let this stop you. i always pack a fire arm with me in case of snakes you know what i mean? and you usually are greated warmly when they see my rifle or pistol. thou in the past ive ran acroos the marijuana farmers they usually mean buisness when you see them and you will be out gunned but you must be a hardcore mountain man to reach those locations.

what i said is true.im not saying they were men from the past.im just saying thats how they were dressed an how they looked no dought they were probably local people.but had their own group or clan.ect i could tell the way they were talkingkinda low an nervously watching around they did not want to be seen.an i also thought how they dressed an looked like real cowboys from a movie or outlaws from the past.i think this was done on purpose.in case anyone seen them.would have known they were all togather.as far as me being scared.i knew i was alone an if they did have something to hide whos to say what they would,ve done.the way they acted they did they certainly was mighty intersed in whatever was in that sack.like they had just found it.thy said others things.like how purty the weather was now i could,nt hear everything they said just normal talk like how rockey the trail was how good or bad there horses.iwas telling you what they said that stood out.like silver an something about the rough riders.made me think they were speaking about themselfs.cause it would have suited them.the way they looked i never herd them call anyones name.this may not have anything.to do with what you all are talking about but it just seemed stranged to me also.thanks for your comment.

OK, now I can see what you were describing, exactly. Appearance matters. They probably dress this way for either intimidation or as a "club" if you will. I have no doubt there are small (and not so small) caches of silver, coinage, maybe gold and certainly artifacts...art, if you will, all over the area. This kind of archeological destruction is what gets to me the most.

If someone finds, literally, a big chest full of treasure I can't expect them not to run all the way home with it. I would. That does not seem to fit the happenings up there. Do you remember the general area you were in when the riders gathered? Were they carrying weapons? Radios? Any equipment?

Thank you for the info.
