TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
My wife and I had dinner /drinks a few years ago to the location in Norwalk . The waitstaff/manager were bad, very disrepectful to the customers. You know the look they give when thet could care less about your order . That should be the name ,"We could care less about you".

The staff thought they were kings of the universe , doing a favor to the surfs and peasants who walked in. Treating the customers like dirt was the rule of thumb, no wonder the restaurant closed.

This new location will do poorly as well. Hey Owner ,Think you can treat customers like sheot? You will not see one dime of my money.

To call Habana a Cuban restaurant is a joke. There is nothing remotely Cuban on the menu unless you include the Mojitos.
The closest Cuban restaurants are Latin American Cafe in White Plains, Victors on W52 in the City & a few in Union City.

I was born and bred in Cuba and confirm that Habana is very very tasty and authentic. I don't need to go back to Cuba anymore now as have the food I miss.

I went to Lushes Diner on High Ridge Rd. It's filthy, the service is lousy, the food was horrible, the waitress' and waiters are unkept and the prices are outrageous!

Visit Darien Diner and Post Road Diner in Norwalk for some delicious Diner food!

Norwalk has had its problems, but if your city can't clean it up you won't have anything left to come to,Thats a fact.I'm a victim I pay taxes in Norwalk probably more than you.So take your comments where they are useful.Tell me why do you like Norwalk? The blight, the crime, the way your Mayor plays the city?I help those who need it the ones you pass each day and probably don't see.

Prayer for the guy who was executed at your Shell station.

So we have an Albanian who runs a Greek Diner and an Italian Restaurant now running a Cuban restaurant. I am all for fusion cuisine but this may be a little too far out of the box.

Now we add in the fact he rented out Spazzios one night as a hip hop club that brought with it two different shootings, and we see how great this will be for the neighborhood of Glenbrook.

I used to love Habana and am pretty excited that they're opening it in Stamford. It changed hands a year ago with new management. I've been to a few of this owners restaurants and unlike many of the corporate, no owner there kinds of restaurants there are, she actually works at her places and cares. I've always had great service and great food. Not sure what all the "hate" is about. I'm a big fan of the diners and they are certainly not dirty.
Norwalk is what you make of it. I love living here and understand there are issues to be dealt with, but tell me a city that has affordable housing and an average median income that doesn't have a problem or two. If I could afford a 1.6 million dollar house in Westport, then maybe I'd move there too. No disrespect to Westport, NC, Greenwich, Darien, etc- They're all great places to live too.

Did you notice there was never any detail on just who "sponsored" that "hip-hop" event? If that were not enough, some members of the owner's family seem to be working 24/7 to destroy it. I believe the Habana is renting and running the former Quatro whatever location.

NORWALK-Police responded to a near riot over the weekend involving about
300 Halloween-costumed revelers on Washington Street and at Webster
Street parking lot in the heart of SoNo, police said.
Responding officers outside Club 77 on West Washington Street saw a
crowd blocking the street and radioed for reinforcements before 23
on-duty and extra work officers and police dog Nomak showed up to
restore order, Sgt. Lisa Cotto said.

enough said, your city needs a bulldozer Habana does not need Norwalk I've already been there and the food is a lot better than before, free parking and a wonderful night.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Pisces

This is another good day to be tactful, and if anything you'll be even more successful than you were yesterday. This is not to be sneezed at, so seize the opportunity to talk to people who can sometimes be very touchy or who need to be handled with kid gloves. If you meet someone who's older or more influential than you, you'll be a big hit with them.
