I want to this school over 10 years ago and I cant believe what I heard today about something like this happening in a school that I went to. You know I got picked on and wasnt apart of the cool kids but I never thought about going to school to hurt so many people, the way they had planned to. I think that the school need to learn how to better deal with all the things that are going around in that school. I know of other things that happen in that school that in my opinion were not handled in the best way. I think the school need to take a close look at everything that is happening in the school and to the student they have there. Thats all i am going to say for now because i can go on forever about this. I hope that everything works out for the best and say that it is a good thing that it was found out before anything happened.

As a student at Arlington High School I feel this has been blown somewhat out of proportion. It seems likely that these plans were simply a fantasy and it would not have gone any farther than the planning stage. Honestly, planning this two years ahead of time seems basically incompatible with mentioning it on myspace. It is sad that these students lives will be seriously damaged by an act of (admittedly tremendous) stupidity and I am torn between feeling that their stupidity merits any consequences they suffer and feeling that young people are often stupid and consequences for youthful indiscretion should be minimal as long as no harm is done. In terms of insight into the students, all I can offer is that they were reasonably popular, certainly not alienated. It's entirely possible that this was merely an incredibly ill conceived plea for attention.

I don't go to this highschool...but I believe that the students should be duely punished. I wouldn't care if some one was just joking about blowing up the school, when it gets to the point of where they are planning on carrying it out and they have plans made...are we supposed to just sit by and let another school shooting/bombing happen? We have to learn from our past mistakes, and while kids do stupid things, it is no excuse for what they have done. There are stupid adults that do stupid things, but is the fact that they are stupid an excuse?

im a senior at this school and i just learned about these plans today even though i would have a graduated before the plans were carried out i still would have been deeply affected by this. younger siblings of my friends would be attending the school at that set time as well as all the teachers and staff the students at AHS have come to love. as to why the three boys would want to hurt so many people is beyond me, according to them it wasn't because they were being bullied like the students at Columbine. i just don't get it

I attend the Arlington High School and am a sophomore . Therefore, I would have been still in the scholl when this act was planned to be carried out . I don't think it is blown out of proportion because if it was your life or your family's life in danger wouldn't you be concerned and want precautions to be taken . Also, the killing of a school has been carried out in colleges and high schools it is not only something that about in the mind of immature and still growing teenagers but also in the minds of adults. If your mind is set to do something, rregardless of your age you will perform the task at hand . If that is not what they planned they should have never put the information out there . I don't know any of them but I am a little bit shooken up that one of them lived down the street from me . I strongly feel the proper actions have been taken on this case .

It is an outrageous idea that a couple oh high school students would even consider such an idea. people in this are are very concerned about the safety of students but we are all glad and proud that one student came forth with the information to help us stop the plan.

This is ridiculous. i do believe that this was blown out of proportion a bit but i also believe that making plans about BLOWING UP THE SCHOOL is not cool and very wrong. these people need to understand the difference between a joke and an outright crime ~ I hope they learn from this ordeal

We both go to this school i am a freshman and she is a sophmore so we would of both been victoms of this attack. On myspace they had a hit list with over 250 people's pictures in a collage. I knew about 40 people on the hit list. The people in the collage seemed to be their really good friends. In front of all of these pictures were joe,....., and Pat. ..... was the biggest picture and the other two were smaller. I think unnamed 15 year old ..... is the one who plotted this whole thing if it was going to be a real attack and he's the one that is getting off the hook REAL easy compared to joe and Pat.
