18 Emty stores on Rte. 9, a famous public, historic school now closed and abandoded, due to lack of students, tons of houses empty or owned by the banks
all trashed, copper torn out,and now Hyde Park, again a one diner town!Town looks like a 3rd world country now,and supposed to be "An all American Presidntial Town"a town all of America should copy !! A president buried here too,and a first lady!
Entire Hudson VAlley now dried up,getting worse, and sadly, its the sign of the times, and another 100 or 200 jobs directly and indirectly lost here now too
with the help, food service deliveries, landscapers who maintained the outside, the septic companies who cleaned out the grease pits and septic, etc etc.
Some presidential town, some elected now running it
to help so all these buissnesses stay,or schools not closing, and yes,ALL beating feet here to to get out of NY too as of record!
And we supposidly have a recovery too?Whose pulling the wool over all our eyes may I ask?
Great diner, great food, sorry to see you go,sign of the times, and its Hydy Hydy Park,as usual and Duthcess Co.too!Guess more running to our Social Services, somebody has to take care of them, and guess Duthcess Co.40 million in hte hole now as of record, will pay out of the county budget too!
Some thriving town, some tourist town, some Presidential All American town folks !FDR would be proud, turning over in his grave today!(right down the street too)
So sad,and all so sorry to see you go Pete!To bad not going to be here for November elections Pete,
gonna be a doozzy sir!And everyone tired of being broke, only part time jobs as the rule, and can't buy a house nor rent an apartment on a part time job here in Duthcesss Co.or the Hudson Valley either.Perhaps maybe perhaps,we should bring ALL those buissnesses back home from overseas that were once here too,and those thousands of full time jobs too!
