DO NOT BUY FROM PET FASHION... THEY ARE SELLING VERY SICK DOGS. THESE POOR ANIMALS ARE SUFFERING. THE DOGS ARE ALL BEING SOLD WITH PNEUMONIA.
THERE IS NO REGARD FOR THESE ANIMALS OR THE PAIN THEY ARE ENDURING. MOST ARE SUFFERING ALL OF THEIR YOUNG LIVES, THEN BEING PUT DOWN. HOW THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE ABLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT IS BEYOND MY ABILITY AS A HUMAN BEING TO COMPREHEND. QUITE OBVIOUSLY, THEY ARE INHUMANE AND HORRIFYINGLY WITHOUT ANY REGARD FOR THE AGONY THESE PUPPIES SUFFER.
I'M ACQUAINTED WITH A FORMER EMPLOYEE, WHO INSISTS SHE HAD TO QUIT BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T CONTINUE LIE TO CUSTOMERS ANYMORE. SHE COULDN'T HANDLE THE DECEIT AND THE SELLING OF SUCH SICK ANIMALS. CUSTOMERS WOULD BE OVERJOYED WITH THE PURCHASE OF THEIR NEW PUPPY, AND SHE KNEW ONLY TOO WELL THE PAIN AND SUFFERING THEY ALL WOULD QUICKLY COME TO KNOW.
PLEASE DON'T EVEN PURCHASE PET FOOD IN THIS HIDEOUS STORE. PLEASE.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO BUY A PET. I PURCHASED A DOG FROM HERE AND IT WAS DETERMINED BY MY VET WITHIN 2 DAYS THAT IT HAD AN INFECTIOUS DISEASE, WORMS, RESPIRATORY INFECTION, ETC. I SUBMITTED DOCUMENTATION TO THE STORE AND REQUESTED A REFUND AND TO RETURN THE DOG UNDER THE NYS PET LEMON LAW. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND MY MONEY AND ARE QUITE POSSIBLY THE MOST COLD, RUDE, AND CARELESS PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CARE OF THESE ANIMALS.

We need to get this company shutdown once and for all. They keep expanding their stores. Manhattan, Yonkers, West Nyack and now Poughkeepsie. This is a nightmare. They need to be put out of business. They are fueling the puppy mill business and causing needless suffering of these dogs. People, please stop patronizing their stores or any stores that sell puppies. Help put and end to the puppy mill business.

Recently, my daughter and son-in law bought a Pomerainan puppy from this pet store in the Poughkeepsie Galleria. The puppy is also very sick with Pneumonia as well as other issues i.e. worms etc. After several visits to the Vet andexpensive treatments he now has to see a specialist. They also went back to the sore, not to return him but to seek support for the vet bills. They were refused. Everyone out thers that either bought or is thinking about buying a pet from this store should help to close it down. These poor animals. Once we find out who to report this to I will post at this site again. We are not letting it go!

i bought a puppy on monday and before we spent over 2 thousand for our new puppy I asked the sales girl if the pup was sick cause she was gagging. She stated it was a hairball. Took my puppy to the vet today and of course she has kennel cough and the visit was over 100.00 dollars.went to the pet store and she denys it all. there is so much more to this story. All i will say is exactly what i told the sales person. I will be back because what you guys are doing is wrong to these people including myself. and last but not least these puppies who have feelings. and are suffering. This is unfair they are also living things. And got a few people together who r willing to get together with the news and lay it out straight how dirty they are doing us and this puppies. email me at iluv6incheels@aim.com lets shut them down!!

I just bought my son a rabbit at this pet store on Friday night for his birthday, and now I am wishing that I had read these comments first as I sit with my heartbroken, sobbing son after being kicked out of the store by the mall security upon returning the rabbit who died in my sons arms on the way to the mall this morning. Of course, when I took the rabbit in, they tried to pin it on us and say that someone had squeezed the rabbit too tight, however, my son brought to my attention that the rabbit had not gone to the bathroom since we picked it up on Friday, and it was eating Timothy Hay. I told them if they refunded my money, I would leave the store quietly, and they would not, so of course, I uncovered the rabbit, and let everyone in the store know what had happened, in my loudest possible voice. I think it is ridiculous that they are still in business and I am sincerely hopeful that they are shut down forever!!

Pet store dogs usually come from a dog farm, such as Pennsylvania puppy mills. They're kept in small cages where they are only used for breeding. Also, because they are kept so close together, they are more apt to have kennel cough or other diseases. These people who breed them don't care about what kind of dog their breeding. They only care about the money. The dogs are usually inbred and improperly socialized which leads to MAJOR behavioral issues in the future.

Wanna know something crazy? I once went to a pet store in Kingston (it's closed now), and I arrived right behind the mini tractor trailer that was delivering puppies. I looked in as I walked past, and the smell was terrible! The poor dogs were piled on top of eachother, and I heard the owner discussing the prices.$250 to buy the dog from the farm, and then they upped it almost 3x that amount!

So, as cute and cuddly these puppies may be, when they grow into adults they'll probably become another statistic in the animal shelters.

Adopt. That's all I can say. If you don't want to adopt, I suggest volunteering at an animal shelter. You'll see what terrible things people do to animals, and it'll change your mind forever.

I wish we had done research on this store before we bought our dog from there. We purchased a puppy 3 weeks ago and within 2 days she had to be hospitalized with severe pneumonia. We spent almost $1600 to buy the dog and over $700 in vet bills. When we bought her, the store promised us she was not a "puppymill" dog, they only buy from reputable breeders...that is a LIE!!! I researched the name of the breeder after we she got sick...one of the biggest puppy mills in Iowa, with lots of charges and complaints about the puppy mill and selling sick dogs. They also said she was AKC registered, but didn't have the papers yet from the breeder...another LIE...she is ACA according to the hand scribbled contract and they cannot even tell us when we will get the paperwork if at all. We have contacted them numerous times and have been to the store a few times with the bills. They said it's up to "corporate" as to us being reimbursed. We said it's NYS law they HAVE to refund our vet bills. NYS law says we are supposed to be reimbursed within 14 days, and here we are 3 weeks later and cannot even get a straight answer from this place.
The sad part is that she was sick when she was there. Her health sheet says she was given antibiotics, so they were covering up her sickness. So 2 days at our house with no medicine and she almost died. Our vet said if we hadn't come in, she would have only lasted 1 more day. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this pet store!!!!!!!!

Wow, I can't believe they would sell sick animals like that to people! Well I was in the mall today and the police and aspca were in there. It looked like they were gonna take all the animals. I know they were taking a lot of pics and asking for all kinds of paperwork!I saw the aspca lady talking to the vet. I didn't stay till they left so I don't know if they reopened the store or not! Hopefully they will be closed down! So sad for all these animals!!

Everytime I went to the mall I always thought how sick the puppies looked. I was at the mall yesterday when the animals were being taken away. I hope everyone who has been affected by this store is reimbursed for their vet bills and you get justice. This whole situation makes me so sick to my stomach. I hope the owners of that store go to jail.

I went back on Sunday because I needed to see if this store was still open. It was open for business. There were only 2 dogs that weren't there sunday that were there Saturday when the police and ASPCA were there. There is one beautiful dog that looked so sick like he couldn't even lift his head. I would like to know how a place like this is still open??

Not to worry no more the P.D. and ASPCA went in yesterday and seized all the dogs due to illness and unsanitary conditions. May have taken months to get action but atleast it got done.

Hello, my name is Marcus.. I know somebody who works there and he came home really upset that people are making allegations that he is cruel to animals.. I know for sure all he talks about is his puppies, and would never do anything to harm them. Another thing, They are not closed so thats a lie. And they did not take the dogs because they where sick. they took a few dogs to get them checked up, and a few of them had issues..If they where that bad in the store and the puppies were not being taken care of.. Why would yall spend your money on the dog. Ok then. Maybe yall just dont know how to take care of dogs. Remember they are like NewBorn babies.. they are not play toys.. Would you let everybody play with your 2 month old baby without making sure they were clean.. so why wouldnt you do that when you take your dog home.. You cant sue the hospital if they advise you about care and you dont listen. Im sorry for any problems yall went thru but you all are going to far.. But they are still open and that must mean something.

we bought our puppy 2 weeks ago from pet fashions in the Poughkeepsie Galleria, the night we brought her home she had diarrhea and was having 6-8 bowel movements per day and so skinny, we brought her to the vet the next day and found out she had worms, put her on medications, and 2 days later stool sample came back + that she had Giarrdia and Coxidia, put her on more medication and she also sounded like she was coughing up something so we brought her back to the vet and she had a 103.8 temp and kennel cough, put her on more medication she is still not eating or gaining weight, we have tried her on prescription dog food; which cost 25 a case. Vet said she has evidence by her teeth enamal that she had been overdosed while in their care. We bought her for our son and it's said to see that she is so sick. Our vet said today that there were many of her clients with the same diagnoses at the same time and that there was an investigation going on. NEVER again will we Ever buy from a pet store again- this has been purely stressful and they have been so negligant to sell such sick puppies.
