I must say as a busy professional, i am accustomed to excellent service and these guys are the best in Dutchess County NY area. Don't bother with the chains if you want good service. My lexus GX470 is properly maintained and they always do the best work - better than the Lexus dealer and closer.

I have Notice a torn on my tire wall. I went on line to shop for Goodyear tires. I went to Arlington Tire shop and I explained to James what type of tire I was looking for my Ford Taurus. James came up with a better savings and input. I said no problem. I told James I will bring the car Monday, james told me he had time to take care of all 4 tires the sameday. I'am happy to say that I feel much better driving on the road with peace of mind. The Price was right..Thank You Arlington.

Just before the holidays, my husband took his car into Arlington to get an oil change and tire rotation. During the visit he was told that he needed new front brake pads and the price would be around $200. During the holiday we notice an add in the PennySaver for brakes at Mavis that were about 1/2 the price. Needless to say we took the car to Mavis for an estimate ... they said we didn't need brakes. So, we asked the dealer (while it was in for something else) to take a look at the brakes .. there is 75% brake pad left in the front & 50% brake pad in the rear. Thank goodness he didn't listen to the technician! We'd be out $200 that we didn't need to spend. Don't trust everything you hear from them.

Confused, Arlington Auto & Tire shows the customer the worn item, provides a measurement of the pad thickness, and can always provide the same exact pads as Mavis at the same price. Brakes are not recommended without a measurement, and percentages are not used by professional technicians - a pro would state the facts in mm or fractions of an inch. When you have your brakes checked ask for the measurement and compare it to the minimum suggested wich is typically 2mm or approximately 2/32" for most manufacturers. Arlington Auto always uses this process so something seems out of place with respect to this comment.

Durring the complete period this customer noted we have had the wheel weights in stock. In fact we balance about 1000 wheels per month so it is possible to run out and reasonable to assume it could happen. However no appointment indicates any call back was necessary nor do any of the sales people or managers remember a customer awaiting wheel weights. A review of inventory indicates a constant stream of wheel weight purchases. There has been an issue with the new environmentally concious non lead type weights going into a backorder delay however it would normally only be a few days. We do apologize if anyone is inconvenienced and do encourage them to visit and have the balance performed any of the seven days a week we are open. We also want to remind customers that when they buy tires from us our platinum installation service offers life of tire free rebalance, nitrogen inflation, and rotations for cars and suv's. I hope this customer was able to speak with someone at the store and voice their concern directly to the individual responsible as they should know and personally apologize.

I scheduled an appointment to have my winter wheels road force balanced. I get there and they say they just ran out of the stick on wheel weights needed for my particular wheels. The assistant manager states that UPS is supposed to deliver them that evening and asks if I can reschedule for next morning. I say ok and make plans to do so. I show up next morning, walk in and the same guy from the day before states that they still didn't get them yet. I stated that they should have called me, instead of me planning my day around this and driving all they way over there to find this out. He verifies my phone number and says they will call me back later that day and apologizes. Day goes by, no call. Next morning I make an appointment with another place. Never heard back again from that assistant manager. I didn't know it was a business practice to ignore their customers. Plus who doesn't have these weights in stock if they are commonly used?

I had a terrible wobble in the front end of my Dodge Caliber, I thought the worst because it drove all over when I hit the gas. I was waiting for a huge bill when the mechanic here took me out to the car to show me the loose part - and all it was was a bolt for the arm! They only charged a few bucks to tighten it and advised it is a common issue with this vehicle. No parts thank god! They could have sold me but they showed me exactly what was going on instead. I dont know everyhing about cars but I could plainly see and now the car drives fine for $30 and will be back if I every need anything.

Greg, apparently you are not very smart. You comment about a situation in a negative way without knowing the situation. My regular shop (in Wappengers, you know) said they could not look at it until Monday, wanted a $90 towing fee, and said they charge a minimum $50 fee to lift it up off the ground. I look at it as I saved $110 dollars and Arlington was nice and quick and honest. You are part of the stupid people who write bad things on line and dont know what they are talking about, these guys so deserve excellent positives and I have been back since then and the other customers I meet are all saying the same thing! This place is always loaded with customers so many sometimes you cant find parking! I think I would rather go to a busy place whom is obviously getting the vote of all these people, and they are not the cheapest, but others who I met there agree, great service is worth it. I prefer to congregate with smart positive people, you would not understand.

Great diagnostics, they found the cause of my ck engine light. AFter my local shade tree guy (ok for anything non technical) had reset my computer a few times he finally admitted he could not acurately find the problem, I tried these guys. They appently have an experienced BMW tech and found it was a bad spark plug! Replaced them and the car has been fine for months. I later found out that my shadetree mechanic should not have reset the light in this particular case because it takes a few days of driving for the light to come on even though my problem may be there, my bad spark plug (the cause) was putting unused gasoline into the exhaust and that could have cost me a bundle if the convertor was damaged. The moral of the story is to get the car properly diagnosed, it's worth the cost!

These guys are the best in the industry. Chris and James are not only friendly and professional... most importantly, they are trust worthy. Which is tough to find these days. Waiting is never a problem... and if you are there above the normal wait time, you can take a seat on the couch and watch a movie on the flat panel screen TV sipping on a fresh brewed cup of coffee. Best tires and prices around. You guys are the best and are highly recommended.

I took my car in for inspection. The guy took off the wheel and the brake caliper. Told me that I needed new pads and rotors. I said thank you and I will think about it. He put the caliper and the wheel back but did not put back the springs that hold the pads in place. I go home to do the job myself and find the brake hardware missing. I go back and the mechanic who had taken my wheel off denied that he even worked on the car. Ultimately, the shop agreed to reimburse me for the cost of the brake hardware.

Tires are the best I ever had, thanks for the advice. I notice the nitrogen improved the ride and fuel economy, was told by other people it would not matter but it worked for me. I can understand the idea behind it. The diesel injector repairs they did worked great! It runs better than ever. I also like the way the guys at the office respected my opinions and worked with me, they listen.

I recently brought in my Audi A4 - 2004 to check on a coolant leak on a wed. The tech said they would need to replace my waterpump and also timing belt. We scheduled the car to be dropped off thurs. morning since this would be no small job. I was promised the car back no later than friday mid day, but that they would call thurs to let us know how close to being done they would be. Thurs came and by 2pm we had heard nothing so we decided to give a call to see how it was coming along. The tech told us they have not even started to work on it and that it would be looked at until Fri!! Friday comes and I do not hear anything from them so I decide to call around 2pm. They were almost done! YAY! The tech tells us we can pick it up that evening. We get to the store shortly after 6 pay and go to leave, only to discover that my aibag light was now lit.( do they not check for these things after done working?) We promptly go back into the office and talk to the office Mgr. He sends a tech out and the tech says "oh we must Have broke the sensor when we were working on the car" THEY BROKE MY AIR BAG SENSOR AND DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!! So he hooks it up to the computer and checks it out to find that indeed it was broken and would need to be fixed. We were promised the part would be in by Mon and to come right after work they would do it real quick 20 mins tops. Mon we call to let them know were coming in, and they tell us no part to come tues. Tues we show up and are told "sorry we are too busy today come tomorrow or thurs." thurs we show up and guess what? they are "too busy" once again...what is it with this place?! They broke a sensor on my car and it should be a priority to fix their mistake! It is now friday and we will be trying again tomorrow morning. Hopefully people have had better luck with this place - I will never go back again.
