ya there are a few slimebags in any car dealership. its a tough business and dog eat dog for customers. i had good luck with parkway ford but now their gone to ogdensburg. so if someone needs a ford fixed they should think of frenchies in massena. they have a ford garage and it beats driving to ogdensburg for minor repairs ;just sayin'.

I was told several times not to buy a car from there. I gave Them benefit of the doubt. When I tell people where I bought it, I get a smile and a few laughs. The salesmen/owner is very pushy, rude and self sympathetic like a child. The garage is very slow, understaffed and inexperienced. Hiring youngsters is great but that leads me to believe that there isn't a good mechanic there because Con is what the Mexican's refer to as EL CHEAPO. I know that every car there isn't a lemon. Sure some are Cherries, but its an "automall" not a god damn grocery store! If you got a good car and good service lucky you indeed. When you have more than a few people gettin' screwed, think maybe that there is a problem??? I remember the odometer scandal in high school. Stupid me no one to blame but my self. take my word shop else where!!! please.

Mahoneys sold my my parents a van.. they had all kinds of problems with it.. Mahoneys had them drop the van off on a monday morning said they had to take it to watertown to the dealer to have it checked. The van was gone as we went to walmart and did not see it. Well when the got it back it was not fixed. We called mahoneys and talked to con and he said the van never went to watertown and was never supposed to. So where the hell was their van for 3 days.. they lie. now one of the liars in parts and service works at Parts plus.. and the other liar is working at Frenchies in massena.. so beware

AMAZING!!! This happened to me in the early 90's - same guy/same problem. My car (with 17,000 miles) leaked oil - had it in and out of his business every 2-3 weeks with no solution. We finally came to an agreement that he was going to buy the car back from me. My suggestion is to report him to the Better Business Bureau. And, until you come to an agreeable solution, I'd be out on Route ll with a sandwich board (I'll even join you)! Continue to tell people your story so they don't end up in the same situation. Good luck!

I can't even put a star on the page. They sold me a lemon. I have tried to get them to correct it. The Owner Con Mahoney told me that I am a bad customer. The problem is the vehicle has a shimmy in the steering wheel and transmission shifter and they have replaced the brakes twice and the tires and the problem has not been resolved. It has been a year and they have basically told me its my problem.
Do not buy a car from Mahoneys Auto Mall in Potsdam NY.

we should get a bunch of us with picket signs in the shape of a lemon. It wouldn't be hard to even get a hundred people to do this.

I bought a car from them. Mac went out of his way to get us approved. But, after the paperwork was done and I questioned the amounts Con brushed it off. As if I was an idiot. Unfortunatly, I needed the car. I was supposed to get a $1,500 trade in for my car and only got $500. I went to leave with the newer car to find that the gas was so low, that I wouldn't have made it to a gas station. So, they went and got the gas. That they already said they would do before I picked up the car. I was charged $30 for $20 worth of gas. Just because I'm a female with children, doesn't mean screw me over. I would not refer anyone to this dealership.

Any time you buy a car, you always leave the dealership with a FULL tank of gas. Most dealers comply

You are just an idiot then... If it was that bad, go to a different dealership, plain and simple... Stop trying to blame your shortcomings on other people... And I doubt anyone there looked at you and thought to themselves "oh, she is female and she has children... Lets screw her over"

My sister bought a ca from mahoneys and got screwed royally. She has had nothing but problems with the car and when they were told of the problems, they basically said it was not their concern. She is a very hard working person who raised her kis alone after her husband walked out, She works everyday and hard for her money. Her not being used to dealing with people like that trusted them and her kbb. value is almost three times lower than what she is paying for them. So stay away from them, they are as bad as fucillos,

well I had a car from Mahoneys as well and got screwed from Con as well .The name fits him very well .A con he is and I told him that .I told him also that I would make sure that anyone I know will never buy from him .He was very rude and was swearing the whole time I was tryig to talk to him .Who swears at customers that buys cars from there dealerships ?I also bought the extended service plan and was never told the company that they did it through had went bankrupt until i needed to use that service plan and they would not go good for it .then they told me that I had to drive an hour to do an oil change or they were going to void all service plans on the car but they failed to tell me that when I purchased the car .then everytime you go there for any kind of work they try to tell you all these other things need to be done .But that is done at most dealerships .go for an oil change and they say you need to do this ,this and this .they do this mostly to women because they think they can get things over on them .pretty sad .

If a girl gets screwed on a deal... Her fault. She should do a little research. What's stopping dealers from trying the same stuff with a guy? Oh yeah, most guys look around and learn about what they are buyin b4 they drop thousands of dollars... Stop blaming the salesman for your lack of education. And just because you are a single mother doesn't mean you deserve different treatment... The Internet is free to everyone. Go to the public library and do some research.

We got screwed over by the "Con" artist also. He's been reported to many different agencies. He's a piss poor business man. He don't believe in the philosophy "the customer is always right".

Would you really buy a car from a fat guy giving away with each junk a pound of baloney???? These boys should be giving a customer a pound of lemons.

Thanks Potsdam, these whiskey tango boys did not give me a pound of lemons, instead,. I bought a 3500 pound lemon, my bad. How these guys stay in business is hard to understand. Every time I pass their "junk" shop I get sick. I'm looking forward to the day when I see a closed sign in the window, it shouldn't be too long before these cartoon characters are gone
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM NO LEMONS MAHONEY!.

Contact the attorney generals office. There has to be more than one attempt to fix it, 30,60,or 90 days. It will cost you $ to file under the lemon law but u will get ur $ back
