Jenny is a dick and he plays favorites and treats some kids good and others poorly. He is a condescending ass who thinks and acts like he's better then everyone. He's rude and didn't lockdown the school to protect the kids he did it to protect himself from getting a ass beating.

The individual who got arrested is obviously not very bright and is trash, as evidenced by anyone who would make a statement such as he did in a public school. The ignorant masses in these parts think they can just walk in anywhere and spout off whatever they want with no consequences. They are starting to find out they are wrong. If he thinks he can do a better job with his gf's daughter's education, then he should home school her.

Yeah how dare he want his kids to be treated fairly only to be ignored and belittled by a principal who could care less about your kid unless he knows you personally or you are a higher up in town

I'm sure the parent wasn't threatening to shoot up the school. He was obviously making a reference to being mistreated ... presumably by the principal.

The question is: If I walk into a school and say, "We want to be treated fairly, we don't need more incidents like Sandy Hook or Columbine."

Is that grounds for my arrest?

SERIOUSLY now ... making a reference?

well how would you feel if your Handicapped child was made to walk for 10 minutes or more because she had incomplete homework she and the parents have hard time with because no instructions to understand how it is to be done(CORE PROGRAM)!!! Then tells the teacher her legs hurt and she is tired and if she stopped to take a breather the teacher told her to keep walking....WELL i consider this BULLYING and the education system is supposedly against it BULL-CRAP is what i say if the parent made a child walk for a punishment CPS would more then likely be contacted...I find it SAD when the child is afraid to go to school because of the way she is treated By the (JOKE) educators that are in place in her school system

So why does it come as a surprise that people get angry when the message from the school is always "We know better than you," or "We ARE better than you," or "We have better things to do than listen to you, like take notes or noodle on our iPad or computer instead of listening and paying attention to what you are really trying to say" and messages like that? Why is it that the people who are somebody always get treated so much better than those who are nobody? And then they jump on someone or get the police to do it when people get so frustrated by being treated so badly that they complain, or horror of horrors, use the wrong words to express their frustration. Seems to me that if parents got the message that somebody cared, instead of "get lost," they wouldn't be getting to the point where doors had to be slammed just to get somebody to pay attention.

To me YOU are the one who is ignorant. Are you so perfect in your obviously judgmental life that you have never made a mistake, or said something wrong? It had nothing to do with educating the child, it was about the PUNISHMENT she sustained over not completing some of her work. I don't know if you have children but I send mine to school to LEARN not to be treated poorly, or bullied.

The responses here just prove my point. If you can do so much better, home school your kids.

People should not feel like they have to leave a place like this to make things better for their kids. Isn't that what schools are supposed to be doing? They tell us they are!

You are a strange person if you don't like it home school your kids?? Don't we pay school taxes?? If something is going on at that school that is inappropriate to a child let alone a disabled child then something should be done to fix the problem. If you have a job ( I'm guessing you don't) and are treated unfairly do you just quit or do you try to fix the problem.

I'm all for trying to fix an issue when there is a problem and people should speak up, however don't bring a hot-headed idiot with you who can't keep their anger in check. It's very simple. If you are in your 30's and can't control your temper/words you have no place in a school.

There as you just said it "PEOPLE SHOULD SPEAK UP" as he did(AND MANY PEOPLE PROBABLY GIVE HIM KUDO'S) and if the Principle was PAYING ATTENTION to the conversation (NOT HIS FACE INTO A COMPUTER OR WHATEVER HE SHOULD HAVE A SECRETARY FOR THAT AND I AM SURE HE DOES) and for that matter even had a little bit of concern as to what is going on in the school then maybe Mr LaBier would have NOT done what he did!!!!!!SO why dont you (so many stupid residents)put a BRAIN in your head and open your eyes and see how some people/children might be getting treated in these schools and it should NOT be over the name someone has in the town .....I TAKE it you do not have children or you are one of them PEOPLE THAT (THINK) YOU ARE SUPERIOR TO OTHERS.......

I read the article in the watertown times and even though I don't live in the area, I believe "concerned citizen is spot on with her take on what happened. They should have gone to the police or the d.a. or an organization to look into the abuse charges and put the shoe on the foot that it fits. sounds like a lawsuit and a dereliction of duty on behalf of the school administration, because more than one educater must have known this was going on and didn't say anything. you people on the elected school board should be ashamed of yourselves, also where did post6 and 8 go

Concerned parent sounds like someone who would fly off the handle and not be able to handle themselves civilly in a public situation. I'm sorry but your reputation does precede you so if Mr. LaBier has one maybe he should set to work fixing that before he shoots his mouth off again and finds himself in hot water again. Regardless of the situation it's obvious he can't handle himself in public situations. People have to learn somehow.

Typical put all the blame on one person people do tend to get upset when being ignored especially when it comes to there children being abused by the people who are to protect them. All I'm saying is if you came to someone to talk to them about how you got your head up your ass so far and they played on there iPad and ignored you I bet you would be mad

As upstate ny said, it doesn't matter how angry you get, there is a proper way to act and the gentleman who can't think of anything better to say than stupid threats discovered that he didn't choose the proper way. Now look what it got him. If he had approached the situation in a calm reasonable manner, things would have turned out differently. The problem is that willful ignorance and thuggery are championed in this area way more than education and thinking before speaking. Times have changed, and people don't have to tolerate stupid threats in their place of business. The LaBier gentleman found that out the hard way. Maybe next time he'll think, but I doubt it.
