You were lead to believe that Ms. Calbert was "laid off" from Sequoyah COunty Jail as administrator because of budget constraints. That was nice cover work on the Sheriff's part.

There is proof in the Sequoyah county files that she purchased a digital video camera to take on vacation with her, scented candle, and bathroom scales all with a county credit card. The proof is there, I've seen it myself.

Ms. Calbert, while adminstrator at Sequoyah County Jail, also had sexual relations with a female detention officer who was her subordinate. She admitted this to the Jail Authority Members when questioned.

Ms. Calbert also allowed a former detention officer, who had been reported for excessive force at least 4 times, continue to work with inmates. THis person had severely injured inmates, but was a drinking buddy of Ms. Calberts. This former jailer's name is Jarod Yates and he has since been convicted in FEDERAL court for his last beating that he administered and is sittind in a FEDERAL PRISON as we speak. Ms. Calbert is also under investigation by the FBI and OSBI for the civil rights violations related to this case.

Just a little history on your new jail administrator. THe SW TIMES had a nice candy coated story about Leflore county hiring her. If she was doing such a wonderful job at Sequoyah County why was she laid off only to be quietly replaced within 2 weeks?

LeFlore County officials are just as corrupt as Sequoyah County officials, maybe even worse if that is possible. LeFlore County has more than their fair share of County employees who are whorehounds, lesbians. You name it and LeFlore County has it if it is corrupt. Wonder who Ms. Calbert knew to get the job at LeFlore County. Is that the reason the former jail administrator at the LeFlore County jail was let go so this Ms. Calbert could have the job.
