Hey Dickwad-Adamek also had to pay restitution. How much did he pay back? He at least had jail time. Not much but it was something. She deserved a stiffer sentance.

"Actually its for $180,000...and I agree with you Intelligent Voice, if a lien can be sought it is a good idea to pursue it...at least then there is a chance for the full amount to be repaid."

That house is not even in their name. They could never manage their finances.

The house is in their name, do you have proof otherwise? I'm the realtor, feel free to put in a bid, that would help with her paying back the money.

And she is home confined, despite what you read or think you know, it is not a curfew...did you want to see the ankle bracelet?

I'm not on here to defend anyone, but you all have miscontrued facts, quit making up lies! And until you have walked a mile in someone else's shoes, you have no room to judge.

I don't know what Adamek paid back, but that's my point... If she went to jail, would that make you feel better? Adamek went to jail and then paid some of the money not all of it. She's been told she has to pay all the money back with no jail time. Either way you're not going to be happy. I realize over $100K is a lot of money but realistically nothing in town has suffered because of her stealing, the Midlothian library was paid the money owed, she paid back $25K of it already, library services remained intact. It's the tax payers money and it should be in the account...I get that. It will get back in there. But really what difference does it really make to you whether she's in prison or not??

My point was Adamek was also "supposed" to pay restitution. Last time I checked it was next to nothing. At least insurance covered some of his theft. The library board does not have that option.

Yes it would make me (and others) feel better if she had jail time. She is a thief and she deserves jail time. She got a slap on the wrist.

Dikwad nothing in the town has suffered? The children from the town have suffered. We got kicked out of Midlothian library and now the children have to go to Markham library. The taxpayers are tired of the people put in office in our town stealing our money. We all suffer in our own way. So please do not say nothing has suffered unless you know what you are talking about. A SLAP ON THE WRIST BECAUSE HUBBY IS A COP.

OMG- get your facts straight, you did not get kicked out of Midlothian's library...the board chose not to renew their contract with Midlothian and in fact Midlo was pissed that they did so, going to Markham was the boards decision. If you don't like the decisions that are being made on your behalf, show up to a meeting, vote differently, make sure your tax dollars are being spent wisely, take matters into your own hands. The library services did not suffer because of what Sue did.

Wow dikwad you went from jerk to realitor to jerk again. I am sure nobody is upset about having to take their kids into a worse ghetto to get a library book. Just go away, no more need for butt kissing she got off with NO MAJOR PUNISHMENT!!! However, you are right about one thing; it is not our job to judge. She fessed up and got her punishment. We have to accept what she was given and move on as a village. It sucks and is unfair, but that is all we can do. Hopefully this is the last time we, the taxpayers, get ripped off, but I doubt it!

The crime was outrageous and the punishment was even more outrageous. So what she is ordered to pay the money back. It was not hers to take. What part don't people understand about this? She was given a break because she is the policeman's wife and of course, the police of Posen are above the law. She should be in jail for felony theft. After all, she stole at least $135,000 and this is only what we know about. There is for sure more money missing because if they tell us about this amount, be sure there is a lot more.

I'm sure plenty of people are upset that they have to go to Markham but that had nothing to do with Sue. The board made the decision to change towns before any of this.Get involved in your town and know what's going on. If you didn't want to go to Markham you could of showed up at a meeting and done something about it.

Don't worry about me honey, I got out as soon as I graduated college. I still visit often because I have family that will not move on. You are a fool if you think anyone who is not on team Sue believes there is no connection between her stealing and the new library plan.

Ummm honey???...I have a close contact at the Midlothian library and they are struggling by the loss of Posen's relationship. They relied on those tax dollars. If they had it their way they would of still renewed the contract with Posen. Posen chose to go to Markham instead. Apparently their are Posenites that don't consider Markham the "worst ghetto", otherwise they would of voted differently. It's quite a racist comment for someone who got out of town the first chance they got...oh but wait you said you were a taxpayer?? I'm sure those with friends and family in Markham (and the residents) will find this offensive.

I am a taxpayer know it all. I bought my grandparents house for them because they couldn't afford it anymore. It is probably because individuals and politicians are crooks who steal from taxpayers thereby reducing funds for those who deserve them. It is not an issue of race, it is socioeconomic status. In the North Suburban neighborhood I moved to my neighbor is a black doctor and his wife an Asian lawyer. I have no problem living next to them. They go to work, take care of themselves and their house. I am done with you and your stupidity. Actually I am done with this thread, I will go back to the North Suburbs where I belong, Ta-Ta!

Hey sounds like your trying to defend the crooks, that means you probably got your hand in the cookie jar???? If Posen residents had any brains they would get rid of all those crooks, including the police department talk about dikwads wow theres quite a few of them.
There not worried about the gangs or drugs or vandalizams there just worried how fast they can get to Dunkin Donuts. And I want to know wheres the Mayor when all this is going on? Oh I know he's at the Empress. Wow people wake up how many times is this gonna happen to Posen and they just get a slap on the hand. And Pods you mean the guy that foams at the mouth.Wow???? You think Pods is a problem here in Posen, check out the Blue Island Topix, he seems to have problems over there. You are right, get rid of him and board members that support his nuttiness. The mayor is a decent guy and knows enough to keep his distance from " Frankie the Foamer".

She has already paid a large portion back-people get your facts straight! And no I didn't have my hand in the cookie jar, but if you're so involved, feel free to check. I can tell that you have done a great job taking responsibility as a concerned tax payer making sure you know where all your tax money is going...seeing is Jacobs and a handful of others are all getting indicted. I just know that Sue the decision to move library services had nothing to do with one another. I'm not defending anyone just setting the record straight. Being an a**hole isn't going to help get any of the money back. Why don't you say enough hurtful things for all these people maybe then one of them will kill themselves...that will help, right?? Then you'll get your money back right?? Grow up!
