teens need to have more practice and drive with an adult longer than the law requires...they are inexperienced...Prayers for the family ... and friends of this loved one.. I do not know if this person was religious or not but there is a scripture in the bible about people dying young... Prayers

My heart is with all involved in this tragic and unnessary accident.I have a 19 year old step son. His Grandmother gave him a 2006 honda civic with 20,000 mile's when he was 16. I started to teach this guy how to drive 3 years ago last May.We went to Califorina in July of 08 to get the unwelcomed gift(I dont understand why parent's,grandparent's or anyone would just give a child a car). Anyway, this guy was taught by me,for over a year, becouse he could only have a learner's permit til age 18. I instilled all the basic driving and safty habit's."Two hand's on the wheel, mirror's,no driving and texting,no talking on the cell phone, breaking, not to talegate, parking, making safe turn's,made him study the driver's manule ect, ect, ect".He passed the test first time. And after all that guess what? He think's he's an expirenced driver! HE TOLD ME SO.He dos'nt follow any of my instruction,I HAVE OVER 30 YEAR'S ON THE ROAD AND 2 TICKET'S. He speed's, he already has been ticket'ed speeding. All in all,his driving SUCKS! The only thing I know for shure,is that he dose'nt have a cell phone,so no texting or talking while driving. He dose's what he want's.Just like most his age!"It's not going to happen to me".I guess he as well as outher's will learn the hard way! DRIVING IS NOT A RIGHT IT'S A PRIVILLAGE!!!!

Where or what is the scripture? I'm just curious. I love reading the Bible. To the family, my prayers are with you through this heartbreaking time.

I have taught these children in class. This young lady was an outstanding student, cheerleader, ball player, and most importantly Christian. As I cried and talked with students today I can only encourage them that we will see Alyssa again. We loved Alyssa and will continue to remember her smile, her laughs, and the kind words she always had for her friends and fellow classmates. My heart is broken because I know I won't see her here on this earth. We shared something very important...our faith in God. I will see you again Alyssa. Love you girl.

I believe it is in Isaiah 52... I'll look it up and post it for sure

This is just a little quote that is paraphrased... the righteous die young to protect them from evil... some versions read to protect them from what is ahead of them ...

Congratulations, Ms. Kash, on your recent recent aquisition of the infamous Darwin Award!
Really!?! There was a young life lost today and you are going to say something like this you are a horrible horrible person. I would hope that if you ever lose a child that you get more sympathy than you have shown. There is never a good time to insult a deceased person. You should have more respect or decency to post things like this. This young lady was a cousin of mine and deserves respect. Yes she was driving irresponsibly but honestly haven't most of us. No she was not wearing a seatbelt but who ALWAYS wears one, Really? You should be ashamed of yourself.

I've been sick to my stomache since I hears the news this morning. I've known the family and Alyssa for several years and my heart and my prayers go out to them. Several have expressed their opinion about young drivers, this is not the place for that, a beautiful and precious life has been lost in a horrible accident, she will be missed by me and my family. My prayers and thoughts are with the Kash family.

Im not - people die everyday. Some natural causes, some foul play, some idiodically at their own hands.
dieing by your own hand, being it on purpose or by foolishness, earns the scorn of others in order to prod those still alive from the same mistakes.

Alyssa Kash was one of my friends. I cheered with her at Porum, she was very athletic. She was usually responsible and never had her phone out when she was driving. She should've worn her seat belt, I'll agree. But, all you people need to do is pray. She is smiling down on all of us right now. And with all of this arguing, she wouldn't want that. She was a wonderful kid, never was in trouble and worked all the time or was doing athletics. So please, stop arguing and just pray for her family. That's what she would want.
