School, Teen Clash Over Senior Picture With Sword

This story has just come to my attention. What a crying shame! At age 17, there's a good chance that Patrick knows more about Medieval history than most of his teachers!
Both of my sons appeared in their High School Yearbooks, wearing the traditional kilt, shoulder plaid , etc. of our Scottish clan. The elder of the two was dressed to the 'nines', his right hand on the hilt of his Highland Dirk. Two of my grandsons were "piped" out of their graduation exercise, when their brother...also wearing Highland garb and equipped with the customary Sword, Dirk and Sgian Dhu (small knife worn on the leg), led the graduating Seniors out of the school to the skirl of the Scottish bagpipes!
What do these people want? That photo is beautiful! Young Patrick is a "poster boy" of what a young American male should be! I hope that he sticks to his guns!
What has happened to us? The land of the Free and the Home of the Brave has become the land of the overly-regulated and the home of the timid! If it's too late to add this comment, I would hope that young Mr. Agin is informed that he has a great deal of support!
