If people are stupid enough to buy it, it's their own fault. If this is your logic.. Better not shop at walmart... Or anywhere for that matter. That cheap, plastic shit you buy is about ten times more expensive than what it cost to make it.

Dumb consumers make the world go round!

People pay 150% mark-up on shoes, food, clothing etc, but bitch and whine about paying extra for a car or furniture when they don't pay anybody else. It's funny how people would not loan $20 to a friend who don't pay back, but expect businesses to lend them 10-15k without making a profit equal to their risk. I have bought from both places when I did not have any credit and banks turned me down. The people at both Lewis and Glockner made me feel like a human being, not a scumbag. Now I can buy what I want because those two gave me a chance to build my credit. By the way, not dumb...just had a need that nobody besides them would fulfill.

DO NOT buy a car from Glockners you will be sorry in the end because you will have paid about 2-3 times what the car is really worth. they target people on welfare and if you don't believe me go by their lot in downtown Portsmouth towards the middle and end of the month and look at how empty the lot is. Now go by the same lot around the first of the month and it's will have 3-4 times the cars. RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!1

Glockner's have prices posted on their cars with the weekly payments, such as $98 a week for a 10 year old car. They prey on people with bad credit or no credit. I don't see how the Glockner family can sleep at night.

I bought a car from Glockners (straight out..no payments). The car is 7 years old and I got it for an excellent price (compaired to the blue book value) AND my mechanic says its in great condition. I think just about everyone in sales overcharges in some way or another and yes, there are people out there who will screw you. I went to look at a car from Castles (back when it was in business) and I walked away laughing. He wanted more for one of his cars (at least 10 years old) as I just paid for my current car and it was a POS

If you use any "buy here pay here" place you are asking for trouble. If you price cars based on payments then what do you expect?

Do your homework. If you are reading this then you should never get ripped off when buying a car because you have access to the internet.

If you have crappy credit you can still get a decent deal you just have to shop around.

Car dealerships need customers; it isn't the other way around.

Thank you for beating me to it, I didn't feel like typing all of that.

Don't you ever get tired of explaining relatively simply things to dumbfucks on here? These people make my ex boyfriend look like Einstein.

I've never purchased a thing from there, but I got a letter in the mail today stating they are going out of business. I guess they wish to appeal to Pike County people too.

You can't buy a car at Glockner buy here- pay here if you are on welfare. They require a full time job and down payment. The lots are emptied because people buy the cars...I'm pretty sure you don't know all the facts. Good try though.
