does anybody know if this is true or not ? Judge Marshall had the sitation thrown out of court. Isn't these the things that we the people that don't have that power have to do time pay fines and court costs for? I just want to know what makes them better than us. Apparently it's who you are and who you know that puts you above and beyond the law. Those of us who don't have it like that are put below and under the law. Freedom of speech.

This did happen. Wasn't judge Marshall though, it was a municipal court judge. They had court without a prosecutor present. All charges were dismissed and record was sealed/deleted. There was an article in the Columbus dispatch, never in any local papers.

How can we expect anybody to bring jobs to our town with this being one more thing about the area the is corrupt?

We as a area have always known the Daily times is bought off but this really shows how bad it truly is. Have you noticed when they do the crime stats. they never include Portsmouth or New Boston?

No hate involved he can smoke all the dope he wants. I just hate that fact if it was me in front of the judge I would have been treated like a serial killer. I get pulled over for no proof of insurance I lose my drivers license for 1 year, I say to the judge how am i suppose to feed my family, pay my bills, and these court fines? The judge tells me its not his problem. I think it would have been fair not to throw it out but, he could have said young man go get your insurance come back and show proof and i will allow you to keep your license so you can take care of your family. Oh my bad im not attorney Richard Nash!!! Guess that makes me a HATER because i feel fair is fair no matter who your are!!!

I say we get all the people we can by this weekend to rally up around the Royal and have us smoke fest. Shit why not? Especially if we got a silly little crowd going. What are they gonna do about it? This could be made to happen! We could say we're exercising our rights to freedom of speech. That we support the legalization of marijuana. And by us all firing up a big fat Hootie is our freedom of expression! And so on.

He is a lawyer so he got away with it. What about the other guy with him, did he get away with it to. Probably not. Nash defends the low lifes like child molestors.

All the fake outrage in here is hilarious.

What do you want exactly? You want him crucified for smoking a joint? Really?
