As it should, Staker MURDERED a man over a lawnmower. Only reason he got off is because they are P-Town business owners! We have a sad system in Scioto County

Ignorance is what the public should not allow, it had nothing to do with injustice. The due process won, no politicians!! That's the great thing about the "system," although it has flaws, it does not get to be influenced by public opinion, just facts.

ever notice ho when something doesnt go their way it's "rigged" and when it does go their way it's justice?? hate to break it to all of you crying out but public oppinion doesnt trump law. the guy stole something that didnt belong to him then tried to defend it with a gun in the rightful owners face. The owner looking down a barrel shot him in self defense. if holsinger was so "scared for his life and his families wellbeing" he would put his family before a friggin lawnmower and would have called the law and stayed inside where we would be safe and could protect his children, not go out waiving a gun around. if you point a gun at someone you'd better be prepared to use it, cause the other guy will use theirs with a gun in their face.

Wrong, holsinger STOLE lawnmower then tried to keep it by locking it in his garage and then pointing a gun in its rightful owners face when they wanted it fack. if he was so scared he should have called the law but didnt because he knew he's have to give it up...he put his life and his families safety and well being at rick because he tried to keep something that didnt belong to him...apparently that lawn mower as worth more to him than his family.

Yeah, that justifies it all moron. Like U would tolerate someone at your house for OVER an hour causing trouble??? Really??? Yes, he should've called authorities, but he didn't and it doesn't justify taking his life. I love that U are backing something so stupid up.

no but pointing a gun into someone's face will get you shot...it's his own fault for pullin a gun first.

and no, I wouldnt tolerate someone at my house for over and hour...the law would have been call LONG before it got that far. he wasnt killed over the lawnmower he was killed for being stupid enough to point a gun at someone and naive enough to assume they didnt have one as well. twist it all you'd like...his actions brought his own demise

Exactly right! He didn't wasn't the cops called bc he knew they would order the mower back to the stakers. Both sides are guilty of bad decision making leading up to that night, but had Hollsinger nutted up and just either took care of his business or returned true item, none of these events would have occurred. Bi watched his wife cry on the news, but never offered to explain why he ripped this business off. It's difficult to morn a thief. I'm so glad this was a grand jury decision, a group of randomly picked peers choosing an honest choice!

it is a shame, that the citizens of scioto county, had to make a judgement call! and I feel sorry for those people because everyday they will wonder if they made the right decision, or not. especially when their is a person, whom lost their life. and on the other side, a business that employs family members toting guns, to do a simple reposession. It kinda sounds like someone has been watching too much Capone. Dah, I for one, no longer do business with them! BOYCOTT,BOYCOTT,BOYCOTT!

The law would have asked Holsinger to give up the mower, when he refused they would have told the Stakers to leave and get a court order. I do not believe Holsinger knew this but the Stakers would have known, and that is why they didn't call the law themselves, instead choosing to go to this house at 9pm and pound on doors and windows for over an hour.

Dang telemarketers aren't even allowed to call your house after 9pm but by golly the Stakers can come a reposessin!

I am sure the Grand Jury had a tough decision but I don't have any confidence in that even, given the mentality of most of Scioto County.
Sad sad situation
