You are absolutely right "well" The tea party is not about party afiliation. The tea party is solely based on conservative values (both Democrat, Independent and Republican. We are a grass roots organization that only wants to get this Country back on track. We want our freedoms left alone, smaller government and less government interference in our personal lives. We don't have to take away our freedoms to rid this Great Nation of terrorists. If you prove someone is a terrorist with destroying lives or property, give them a fair trial and if convicted and found guilty by a jury of their peers, then execute them. They want martydom, we should give it to them. The bleeding heart liberals and the extreme left and extreme right are to blame for the shape this Country is in. I have a lot of friends who are Democrats. Have no problems with them. They are middle of the road conservatives. In order to get the job base growing, the government needs to step out and let corportations and private business owners take over. Relax the nonsense regulations that are in place. It is not about protecting the rich. It is not also about punishing the rich. That is called jealousy and socialism. They got rich and don't owe us anything. Everyone has an opportunity to become rich. YOu just need the drive and fortitude to make the right decisions at the right time. I am not saying to do away with the EPA but, wow, 8 coal fired electric plants are closing in Ohio due to the new regulations and the cost of keeping up with them. Coal is far more abundant and cheaper than any other form of fuel. I know the bleeding heart liberals will say we want dirty air, poison water and push old people over the cliff. Ha Ha Ha. We want our Country back. So when you leave in November, quietly close the door behind you. Thanks.

The Clean Air Act(CAA), passed in 1970 created a national program to control the damaging effects of air pollution. The Clean Air Acts Amendments of 1990 went further to ensure that the air Americans breathe is safe. The CAA protects and enhances the quality of the nations air by regulating stationary and mobile sources of air emissions.

The CAA requires major stationary sources to install pollution control equipment and to meet specific emissions limitations. In addition, for the first time under the 1990 CAA amendments major stationary sources must obtain operating permits.

One of these plants is 60 years old. I've worked in power plants and some are so filthy you hate to walk in the gate. Power plants have been fighting and putting off these regulation for years because it will "gasp" cut into their shareholders profits, and that's common knowledge. The technology is there for cleaner plants, they just don't want to upgrade.

ON THE BUDGET
Since March 28, 2012 made 1,064 days since a budget resolution has passed

Knowing how Congress comes up with it's federal budget helps explain why

Since the passage of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, the Senate and the House are supposed to pass budget resolutions in the spring. These budget resolutions set a framework for spending, taxation and other fiscal items in the coming fiscal year. They also lay out general plans for the next four years. If these budget resolutions differ, the chambers are supposed to hammer out a compromise.

Budget resolutions are policy plans. They are not appropriations bills, or spending bills, which actually allocate money for specific purposes.
If a budget resolution doesn't pass, the federal government won't go dark. In the absence of a budget resolution, appropriations bills have continued to allocate money.

In 2010, the then Democratic-controlled House and Senate did not adopt a budget resolution or adopt a single spending bill "because the Democrats were afraid of being labeled big spenders," said Steve Ellis, a budget expert with Taxpayers for Common Sense, an independent group that analyzes federal spending.

Senate Democrats didn't pass a fiscal budget 2011 budget because "Republicans were threatening to hijack the budget process and waste the American people's time with pointless political votes," a spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told PolitiFact Florida. "Faced with this obstruction, we decided it would be more productive use of the American people's time to move on and address other issues critical to middle-class families

For the fiscal year 2003, the Senate under Democratic control in 2002 failed to pass a budget resolution of any kind. For fiscal 1999, 2005, and 2007, the House and Senate failed to reconcile their different bills and pass a compromise measure. In these latter cases, the Republicans were the majority in both chambers of Congress.

Edited, but can be found on politifact.com
John Boehner says Senate haven't passed a budget in more than 1,000 days.

Harry Reid is a joke. Several budget plans have been introduced by young conservatives such as Rand Paul. Obama threatens to veto any bill introduced by republicans than he turns around and says he can't get any bi-partisian help from Congress. John Boehner has suggested numerous ways to fix the current budget proposal but Obama won't budge. The budget Obama introduced was voted down by Democrats in the Democrat majority run Senate. It doesn't have a chance to make it to Congress. Just like in any case involving big government, we only hear what the liberal media tells us. I do agree with woo-boy, a number of the coal plants refuse to cut into their profit to fix the problem. That is sad. It makes the plants who can't afford the fixes look greedy also. I am aware of the clean air acts and I am impressed that someone on here has done their homework. Outstanding thread. I love it. My point I am trying to make is, we can't stand to do another 4 years with the current administration. Not because they are Democrats, Blacks, Whites, Hispanics or whatever. We just can't do it. People like John McCain, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and etc, all need to be replaced. Get rid of the people that are unproductive and have been there too long. Maxine Walters of California ran her mouth so much they are now investigating her for ethics violations. Eric Holder is one of the most dishonest people that is holding any office. You can't think we are all retarded Mr. Holder. You had no idea what your people were up to. Come on. If I would have drug my feet as he has, they would have fired me and threw me in jail for contempt. John Issa is doing the right thing. He called Holder on the carpet and wants him held accountable. The problem is, if Holder goes down he will take down some higher ups with him.

Aparently you are on a higher intellectual level than I am. I could not make any sense of what you just said. I don't speak in tongues. Don't understand them either. Is that the way all liberals are? You dodge a good debate and start trying to sound clever. The facts are what they are. Mr. Obama has failed miserably and should step down and let the next man try. It matters not what party they belong to. If you can't do the job than quit. He is the one who claimed that the private sector was doing fine a few nights ago. Then claimed the public sector needed more help. Since he took office The public sector has risen by well over 300,000 jobs. The private sector has lost millions of jobs. I think all the marijuana he smoked in college and the eight balls he did, are still affecting his brain. Don't tell me you didn't hear him admit to drug use while in college? Is that the moral values we want to teach our kids? The man admitted in his book that he ate dog. WOW, again, lets teach our kids its ok to get high and eat dogs. The recipient class really don't care what he does as long as he continues to take care of them. I am not making fun of people who NEED assistance. I am making fun of the ones who are too lazy to work and don't want to work. There is a difference. It is called assistance not a FREE TICKET. Now they are raising hell because we want them to take drug tests every month, not all just random. We do that in the work force. I didn't complain when sent out for a mandatory drug screening. I gladly went because I appreciated having a job and I didn't have anything to hide. What a moral objection that is. It is just another way to keep people dependent on the Government. The ever growing ever weakening Government. Have a good day "Educate".

I don't claim to be perfect. I have my beliefs and you have yours. Don't judge me. I am not against everything as you claim. That is always the liberal argument. You claim we want to bring down the Country. We don't go around apologizing to every Country and tell them they are as Great as us. No Country is a great as this Country. IF you believe they are, move there. We only want limited Government, cut back the regulations to those that are needed not for an agenda, keep the Government out of our personal lives. Bring the Assistance programs back to the states where they belong, do away with the Federal Department of Education and cut back on spending. Is that too much to ask? We don't need 3/4 of the Government offices. You keep bringing up the 1% and occupy. Why? Why take money from the rich and give to the poor? This isn't robin hood. It is their money. We have no right to it. Should a person that is too lazy to work or doesn't want to, be entitled to money from the rich? Why? Just for your peace of mind, I am not rich and I don't live in Scioto County. I do not belong to any committee.

According to politifact the number of government jobs between the most recent recession(started under Bush in Dec. 2007) and it's official end June 2009 government employment increased 194,000 jobs a little under 1%

Government employment during a combined recession and recovery:
as of April 2012, the latest month for which BLS data is available- from Dec. 2007 to April 2012 government payrolls have declined 407,000 jobs or about 1.8%

Since April 2009 the number of government jobs at all levels has fallen 706,000 jobs or about 3%

Another little fact: From March 2011 to March 2012, Wisconsin lost more jobs than any other state.

woo-boy, no disputing the facts. I have not disputed any of the facts. I am, like everyone else on here, stating my opinion and facts that I know. As I stated earlier, yes I am a Conservative Repulican but, this is not about political parties. It is about what is best for our Country. The current administration needs replaced. Top to bottom. John Boehner is only a conservative when he feels the heat. There are some good young democrats as well as repulicans. I will never change my conservative values. With regards to Wisconsin, the people spoke. Besides the recall wasn't right anyway. Govenor Walker was not charged with any crimes or ethic violations. That is the 2 issues needed for a recall election. People in Wisconsin are whining about money and they just allowed the liberals to waste over 27 million dollars on that recall. Gov. Walker did balance the budget. As did Kasich. I do not agree with all of what they do but, they seem to be doing more good than harm. It is a Union issue. The big bosses didn't want to lose their money, big pay check. If you check the facts, almost half of the union members got out of the union when Gov. Walker passed the bill. That too sends a strong message.
