I want to know what leqal rights a child has when a teacher pumps them for information that doesn't pertain to school? Why is this allowed, and why doesn't anyone seem to care that my childs rights have been violated? Is there a lawyer in this town that will hear me out? This teacher is using my childs name in court cases and no one has ever even asked me about this situation or even if it was ok to do so, what do I do? No one is taking me serious and I am fumming mad!

I have spoke to the principal and he told me he would take care of it, well that was in december and this teacher is still doing what she has been told not to do. I even spoke with the superientendant and she said "well we want to keep this low key", Why? because they are in the wrong, the teacher is lying about what is going on and I think she should be repremanded. This is not right and no one has the right to use my child like this. I NEED ADVICE!

After I spoke with the principal and ask him not to have my child around this teacher and please move her out of this classroom, the principal had a discussion with the teacher and my child without me being present, why was this allowed after I ask him to keep her away from my child? Should I get a restraining order agains this teacher? What action do I need to take and who do I need to talk to?

Can you provide anymore information to what exactly is going on??? I'm not sure what you mean when you say that the teacher is using your child's name in court cases??? Pumping for information? Like personal pertaining to your family? Is this teacher really nosey??

Why is the teacher in court?
I would probably pull my child from the school if it continues.

It wouldn't surprise me if the school requires teachers to "check up" on the home lives of students to see which ones are in questionable living situations. At Northwest, my daughters kindergarten teacher would ask the children what they had for dinner the night before. Some kids said "nothing".:((Those children got extra snacks and lunch if they wanted it)

Like I said I've went to the principat, even the superintendant, and they need to talk to their lawyers, so, should I get an attorney to handel this I have spoke to several and they all tell me that they don't handle this type of a case, or that I have no case, or even that, "well we know the teacher and we don't want to get involved". Where does this leave my child? She has been done wrong and I want to know why! I am going to try to find a childs rights advocate and see what they say.

Go directly to "The Teacher" and ask her nicely to please leave your daughter out of this custody battle. Better yet, do like that parent in WVA did, send a tape recorder in her backpack.

Teachers are mandated by law to report any suspected endangerment to a child. If this teacher was in court, then she was under oath, and mandated by law to answer any questions asked. If she was asked about this child then she had to answer or be in contempt of court. If you are providing a safe, clean, healthy environment for your child then you should not worry about anything your child may say to the teacher. If she was asked what the child told her it would probably be considered hearsay anyway. If the questions were about some other kid, then how was your kid's rights violated? I'd say you're fighting a losing battle and no lawyer will take your case.

My childs rights were violated because the teacher put her in the middle of something she should never have been involved in. When I asked the principal in dec. to put a stop to this, it should have ended there. This teacher still insist on putting my childs name in the middle of the custody battle between my friend and the teachers brother. I feel she is pumping my child for information that does not pertain to school and she is conducting herself in an inapproprat manner. What the teacher did in court was tell everyone there that her student, so and so, gave her information about the little girls mother who is fighting for her in court. My children have more than adiquate living conditions, in fact they are quite spoiled if I do say so myself, I would never put my children in harms way, and I do not allow other people to mistreat my children either, so this is why I want to know what should be done. I am asking for advice not sarcasim.

It is funny how the schools story keeps changing. It went from the teacher brother was the one who said my childs name, to it was his lawyer who brought it up. No one else knows my child in this case other than my friend and the teacher, not the father of the chid they are fighting over, not the lawyer he has, none of them could tell you who she is, but all of them are saying she gave information. So I want to know is how this lawyer knows my child and how this brother of the teacher knows my child. They want to put her in the middle of this without my permission, but yet no one wants to answer my questions, I wonder why this is?

After I ask the principal not to let this teacher around my child, he turns around after I left and put them in the same room together to discuss how things were going to be. I feel that I should have been present and that my rights as a parent were violated. I don't want money, I want justice! I want my kids to know that it is not alright for people to do this to them, and I want them to be able to stand up for themselves and their future family in situation like this. All kids should have rights.

What about if the teacher is the one putting the child in harms way?

You should have not inferred any sarcasm from my post. I am trying to help by making you see it from the standpoint of a courtroom. Explain the harm that this teacher has caused your daughter. I'm offering free advice here, and you get your feathers ruffled because I point out that your daughter can't say anything damaging about you if you provide a good home. It sounds like maybe she said something harmful about your friend in a custody battle. Did your daughter actually say whatever the teacher said in court? I'm trying to get you to provide evidence of violated rights and child endangerment because until you do an attorney will not represent you. Please explain how your child is in harm's way. Saying that your child is in the middle of a custody battle doesn't cut it. That is not harm's way. You have to prove that your child has been threatened or physically harmed as a direct result of something this teacher said or did. No sarcasm, just sound advice. I don't mince words. I give it straight. This teacher is backed by a union, a mandated reporter, under oath in court. You better have solid evidence of endangerment to your child.

HMMMMMM, did you forget that your home was busted, as listed on the PORTSMOUTH DAILY TIMES, for drugs, pills, cash and firearms. Do you think this is a safe place for your daughter? Really now.......

Yes it is. The harm that she put my daughter in is violating her rights. Children have rights, and should be protected by those rights in school. This teacher is lying about the things she says my daughter told her. My child said she never said these things and I do not appriciate the minuplation that the teacher is doing to my child. She is giving my daughter special privliages, like using the phone when she wants to of even giving her money for the snack machine at school, that is wrong. If she is going to give my daughter money than she should do it for the rest of the students. Why the special treatment? Why are they asking her questions at school about things like this and not school work? I know all about teachers pets, but this is rediculous. She is minipulating my daughter to get information, and I will not stand for it. If they has such a good case against my friend then why do they need to use my childs name in it? I will not let this go.

Did you forget that I was not charged with anything? You are an idiot. That is exactly what I wanted to hear from you. I know who you are, and I will take you down. You are going to lose your job! The person who just made that statement is my daughters teacher and she just screwed herself.

For those who are interested, I was not charged with anything. My boyfriend has been to court and he got probation for some marijuana. This lady needs to get her facts straight. He has had his day in court. The drama at my house was thanks to you and your brother. I will put an end to your madness, somehow, someway. You are a low life. You have violated my childs rights and I will prove it. And what does that have to do with you using my daughters name in court?
