Probably not to be honest, but Im not really that concerned. Most of scioto county's "drug dealers" are really just pushers/junkies. They wont even get off their @ss long enough to get a job, much less come "get" me. Besides that, if you read any other posts by this name you would realize there are 3 of us that use this tag name. Its sad that these criminals have most people too scared or too brainwashed into thinking that reporting a crime is a bad thing. More people need to stand up to these animals or we will continue to lose our youth to drugs. The area has become FULL of complacent drug addicts that have no futures. Its a sad and terrible thing to see young people with potential destroy themselves. So no Im not scared. If someone does find out who I am, and actually does something, at least I died for something I stood for and believed in.<quoted text>
First let me say...Thank you for your service and your sacrifice.
Now let me ask.....Is it sensible to give so much information about yourself if you want to remain somewhat anonymous to earn the "trust" of the drug dealers? Seems to me that these questions are more geared to figuring out who you are.
A Scioto County man and woman have been arrested on drug charges. Richard L. Cade, 37, of 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., New Boston, faces charges of theft, possession of drugs - cocaine, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

I have to say, being scared of these people is not what I first thought of. More the compromise for your cause if people can figure out who you are and you are unable to earn their trust enough to aquire the information you need. I do, however, remember a drug related murder on the West Side back in the late 70's that was pretty brutal. One of the women murdered had actually baby sat me when I was little. I was young but I remember thinking at the time that the situation would only get worse in that area as most of the people I was around were involved with drugs in some way. As soon as I was old enough I got the heck out of there. Thankfully I did. Sadly, drugs took one of my high school best friends last year and if I had stayed there I ran the risk of doing the same things. I really hope the area gets cleaned up. I worry for my friends and family that are still there. I do feel like until the economy there improves the chance of the drug problems improving are small. I think a big part of the problem is that there are no decent jobs there, no way for people to make a decent living, leading to low moral and a feeling of helplessness. Its sad really.

Perhaps referring to them as animals might not be the best thing to say to make *them look bad. If you want our youngsters to not follow them, maybe try showing pity. Kids have no problem befriending the enemy of the town, but following a person who everyone pities, is something they're less likely to do.
