You don't live here, then but out!I feel that all of you are not seeing the real issue at hand. If these kids were in different high schools it would be a different story, but they are not...these kids are elementary students and are playing sports that are in a peewee league!
Not allowing the schools to play sports together when they DO live in the same community seems ignorant! It has been said that the kids who are not considered to be part of the Sciotoville community should be a Trojan, well what about those kids who have to walk to their practice or don't have transportation to Portsmouth??? Have any of you thought about this? Have you thought about "what if this was my child"?
I was raised in Scioto County but have moved in the last 4 years, I coordinate athletics where I live now and would never consider doing something like this.
All of you need to stop attacking Ashley, stop thinking about money (because, face out...Scioto County has none), and put the kids first! They are our future, and they are the one's who are being hurt!
We have been doing the right thing for years, we are helping the kids at our school! Our community is divided! and it will stay that way. We all have our own agenda, and our is to ensure OUR children play!
