Now that he's been arrested do you think we'll get money back from him. Or is it gonna be a wash?

Do not hire people you don't know. Do not give fix-it people large sums of money. Before you hire someone, check their references. The reference names might be low-life friends of the crook, so check the criminal record at pmcourt.org and sciotocountycpcourt.org . If someone tries to talk you into being hired, that is a big red flag.

We got references from several people and looked at his work. He had previously done some work for us. We didn't know about

Jim has done work for me and a couple of people I know. I was VERY pleased with my results and so was the people I know that he done work for. Every construction company has had a few mess ups I'm very sure. An I think this is getting to big a bigger deal than what it is. But in my eyes Jim is a good man an done an awesome job for what I hired him for. I'm sure there are more people out there that were satisfied with Jim than there were upset. But I'm sure the ones who have something against him already will do anything and everything they can to get him in as much truble as possible, an that's sad.

It is sad. It is also sad that he would take advantage of the elderly. As I said earlier, we checked on him and didn't have a bad thing said. It is over a year since we gave him our $6000.00 for a new roof. We tried to work with him on a repayment plan. But he didn't follow through on that either.
