Do you think he will serve time now for "involuntary breaking a jaw?"
Sounds like he has issues. He is too old to go around in bars fighting. At least he knows which bar he can go into and not get hurt.
Your are sending mixed messages. First you say he is to old, then you say he broke a jaw. Doesn't sound like he is picking and choosing his bars. Why don't you give him a call and say this to his face. I believe your the one with issues and it is called chicken sh--. You sit behind your computer and run your mouth about people but I bet you wouldn't dare say anything face to face.

Hunts,

"Why don't you give him a call and say this to his face".

How do you tell someone "face to face" over the phone?

You dating him?

Call him and he'll meet you somewhere. No I am not dating him. Yes he is a member of the legion. You told us what his nickname is, what's yours? Two-faced, chicken sh-- that is brave enough sitting behind a computer running his mouth but to chicken to confront someone face to face. By the way I am a male not a female. Hell call me and I'll meet you somewhere because I hate two-faced people like you. That is one thing about Tate if he has a problem with you he'll let you know. He won't run his mouth about anything he wouldn't say to your face.

You are right. Lets see what is done about it.
Unsafe, uncontrollable people should be kept out.
I thought that was the idea of a "private" club membership.
It might be based on how much $$$$$ you spend on rip offs etc.
The people that spend the most $$$$ run the club and the majority are not veterans.

Post 23 American Legion supports members who break the law.
They think they are above the law because they are a private organization.
The State Law of Ohio banned smoking inside public buildings.Private organizations are not exempt. This is a state law.
Post 23 lets members pay $1.00 to smoke. That is against the law.
Go in there on a Friday night and you will not be able to breathe for the smoke.
This legion post is not for the veterans, they are for themselves. Law breakers who need to be shut down. I am sure this will happen soon.
I believe smokers should be able to smoke anywhere anytime. I think that is a big reason why ohio is in such bad economic conditions. It is a legal substance

Tobacco is not illegal.
Smoking it inside public buildings is illegal.
What part of "Ohio State Law" do people not understand. You could go to Kentucky where it is not illegal.
All this negative attention on Post 23 American Legion does not look good.

Legal, yes. Unlimited, unrestricted use, no. For instance gasoline is legal. Would you like someone to give you a complimentary bath in it while you enjoy a legal smoke? Didn't think so. See how this gets out of hand?

It is a bar. So, of course there are people smoking. Yes, it is illegal. But, if you dont like it, then dont go there. Besides.....bringing up smoking has nothing to do with this particular topic.

Sure this topic is very similar with the other topic.
The post does not enforce the law..period..for anything.
If they allow a dangerous member then they would allow all crime and not enforce the law.
By not going there does NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
How about enforcing ALL laws of the state of Ohio and get this organization back in working order instead of doing nothing.
That seems to be the attitude here...if I ignore it then it will just go away. Its not working.
How about opening the bar upstairs and making it non-smoking?
Then everyone have a place to go.

Opening the bar upstairs for non smokers is a good idea....maybe you should bring the topic up at the next board meeting?
But, I dont understand how smoking prevents the organization from not working properly.

All the disagreement and arguing among each other about smoking is causing resentment, and hard feelings among members and that accomplishes nothing.
It is hard to please everybody.
Great idea to open the upstairs bar and make it non-smoking.

Good idea. Open the upstairs for non-smokers.
Utilize the American Legion facilities for ALL members.
Some members have medical reasons for not being able to breathe second hand smoke. They are veterans too.Isnt the post supposed to be about giving ALL veterans a place to meet and relax? They have earned it.

Since its such an important issue, maybe you should bring the idea up at the next board meeting.
