I'm pretty sure that's the same ones that aren't really homeless & they just get dropped off at different locations to get money. The only one I feel sorry for is the poor innocent child that's being drug all around the area.

They need to get a job but they brag about all the money they scam people out of. The young woman and man have every excuse in the world why they can't get a job, yet they can stand out there in shifts and bum. I won't help those that won't try to help themselves. If you want to give something, give food. Don't give money.

Call childrens services? Then the kid gets taken away and put into foster care with people who are probably only fostering for the money. Taxpayers money....YOUR money. So why not throw a few dollars their way instead or go get a Kroger or Walmart giftcard and give to them. Either way, its going to come out of your pocket. At least if you help them now the kid will be fed and with his parents, who, I am sure he loves and wouldn't want to be dragged away from. Its almost Christmas for goodness sakes.

Your right..very dangerous. I just wish people would stop giving to these scammers! I don't care to help the homeless, but will not support these fakes.

<quoted text>. WTF,you must be one of them. Have you lost your ever. Loving mind? Liston, they will take the money out and buy..DRUGS,CIGS,BEER ect, ect. That's no way for a child to grow up,begging for money. The child needs a loving home no matter how much it cost taxpayers. I draw the line when a child is involved .
One of them? No. Nor do I know them and can't look into their lives to see if they are druggies, alcoholics or smoke cigs. So I can only try to look for the good in people and hope that they are out there trying to put some food in that childs stomach or keep a roof over his/her head.
Do you know them? Is the child in an abusive environment now?
I agree that they may be endangering his safty and I certainly do not agree with a child panhendeling but do you know them to be able to determine that they are unfit and need to lose their child, who would become part of a system that doesn't always work for the kids either?
I know it is Scioto County but has everyone there become so jaded that anyone down on their luck and asking for help is judged so harshly?
I agree that quite a lot of these panhandelers are scamming the public but I would rather see them doing that than breaking into homes and stealing property that people have worked hard for. After all, maybe if they collect enough money that child will have an awesome visit from Santa. Only hoping the best.

I somewhat get what your trying to say. If these people would take a child out in the cold & do this! Then they won't stop there; thieving, drugs, etc.... They are scammers, con artists, manipulators... Sound familiar, same thing that druggies & thieves do.
There is no way in Hell that I would put a child in that situation. These people are not upstanding citizens.
& your right foster care is bad, but at least the kid would have a shot ending up with a decent family. Where the are now, they don't have a snowballs chance in hell.....

Obtw,a child has no business out on the street in the cold or otherwise begging for money.
I said already...I agree that the child should not be out there. I just won't judge the parents because I do not know the parents or the situation. Maybe, just maybe, they have no one to care for the kid while they raise the money to pay the rent, which I am sure is due on Dec 1.
I also mentioned giving a gift card, at least you know that has to be spent on food or clothing...unless of course it gets sold to someone else for cash...in that case, you (generally speaking)have done a good deed and if the people are lowlifes then that is on them.
Not everyone that panhandles is a druggie. Some of them live a good life this way...once again (referring to another answer)better than theiving, which most professional panhandelars do not do. You can find stories about people that do it for a living online. Some incredible stories.
