You mean the one with that Arnold Murray guy? From Arkansas? Is it a local church? We need more, man! LOL! But, could you clarify?

It is national program, located in Arkansas. Former military man, Arnold Murray, goes line by line and verse by verse through the Bible. The Bile is God's letter to you. Read it and study it to develop or further spiritual fulfillment and as a guide to living, feeling peace, joy, comfort, humility. God's Word (Bible) is a good teacher.
From the Bible, we learn 1) what God is like (book of God’s words to us)/(God’s message, aka letter to us), and 2) what he expects of us. Bible also describes how people responded to God. Under th eNew Covenant/Testament, one can not be saved by acts, but only by the blood of Christ. Once you’re past salvation, acts (following the law) are again necessary to demonstrate your faith and obedience to God. Praise the Lord.

I just told you he goes line by line and verse by verse through the Bible. Of course, he isnt perfect and he too has his own distractors - probably more than most because he is a public figure. But, anybody could say anything (and will), ie cult, ungodly, masterful, brilliant, stupid, whatever. All kinds of things have been thrown out there about everyone of these programs. Stick to the Book. It is all in there.

“They could tattoo “666” from your head to your feet and it would not change your feelings or mind about Christ. This is important. I hope you understand”(Newsletter #264 Oct.2000).

I got this from here: http://www.forgottenword.org/arnold-murray.ht...

That is not what the bible says will happen. If you take the mark, you will be damned to hell. It doesn't matter if you take it "just because". So, if what I've read and posted here is true, the guy is leading a cult. Sorry if I offended you, Jeff.

I didnt know his name so I googled him and his pic popped up...he's on tv all the time! I"ve never watched him...and I normally dont 'google" stuff like this cuz, well, you know...you cant trust everything on every site...so ima have to check him out...cultist minds fascinate me by the way...not in a "oh dude they're so cool" kinda way but how they reason and stuff to convince themselves of things fascinates me...lol I know that's weird but it does...

Does he get paid to read it to you. I can read myself, I don't need to pay someone else to read to me.

Me too! lol Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one...do people treat you like you are a freak for this? I like studying cults, occults and demonology and it amazes me how many people think that when you're a christian, you shouldnt wanna learn this stuff and there's something wrong with you....I mean, how are you supposed to be aware of things if you dont educate yourself on it ya know? And is the heavensgate the Halebob people??? If so, I was just mentioning this to someone else today!!

Go to the house of the Lord. Forsake not the Assembly. You can grow in faith. My soul prospers when I feed on the truth, the Word of God. Thank You Jesus for my salvation. Amen.
