Nasty pizza place completely over run with roaches!
Ask the exterminator that is there weekly or any employee!
And that grease pit! UHG! Puke!
And I won't even comment on the rodents.
I worked there for a brief time while attending Shawnee State! They treat employees like crap too!
I quit!
Now I'm back home and wanted to comment.
NASTY! NASTY! NASTY!

Yep, I agree. I worked there too when I also went to Shawnee.
That place is a dump. Ate up with bugs and I wouldn't eat that nasty food if it was free.
I also quit after trying it out.
Too dirty and they really do treat all the young employees bad. Especially the students.
The management hires and promotes their friends who are mostly lazy and stupid losers.
And how about the ex con who just got out for arson! Great being fed by that type, right.

We quit eating there because the service isn't all that great and they charge extra for everything. On all you can eat spaghetti night, they wanted to charge us for extra spaghetti sauce. Probably wouldn't have needed it if they would put enough on it in the first place rather than try to serve you dry spaghetti. They are also the only non-fast food place I've eaten who charges extra for salad dressing too.

Went one time...worst service ever had in Portsmouth and that's hard to do. It's a great pizza in Cincinnati, bet owners there don't know what's going on here.

its a shame this place is like this it could really be a nice place. if they were cleaner. i wont go back again. and i agree about the sauce i like more than what they put on it but they said they had to charge me for any extra. and i like a little more ranch on my salad then the tablespoon cup size they give. i asked for extra and got charged for it. you can go to any other places they dont charge extra for their ranch. they lost my business. i wont go back to that money hungry place.

It's worse than when it was a seafood place. And still filthy and over priced.
The ones in Cincinnati are much different.
I'll bet the franchise owners have no clue just how bad the portsmouth store makes them look.
I'm surprised it stayed open this long.
Does the area really need another pizza place and an over priced & dirty one at that?

That's exactly it, run by locals cause they will not let "outsiders" in. How'd you get in Lee. Local management combined with the existing Health Dept. provides disaster. That's why Ptown is on the bottom of all the lists for healthy living and long life.

It was surprising that La Rosa's would allow their franchise to come into Ptown. Supposedly Schmidt should have signed a contract that commits him to start another or two eateries in the area, those could make it? Watch!!!

Also, the reason they should not have come in Ptown, is that you call it a pizza place and it's an Italian eaterie and the current culture can not handle that in Ptown. Although, you all think the Brewery and the Italian eaterie on Chillicothe is Heaven. And Pat's and Noggin's, Hah.....Guess what, SSU's Caterer has better foods. The reason you won't get student business too. dah..........Mr. Messerly.

Bet a lot of folks go out of town to the Texas Roadhouse, et al Reno's couldn't even make it in PTown, dah.....

If we had good inspections by the Health Dept. Larosa's couldn't be open. Wonder in owners in Cincinnati know what's going on here.

Why don't you give them a call and fill them in on what you know is going on. Crap, if you don't like a restaurant then don't go there. Unless of course you live here then frequent the restaurant and get on topix to complain about all that is wrong. Seriously, get a life people

everybody has different opinions, but no way its the best. not even close. you might want to try some other pizzas. giovannis, perrys, freds. or maybe frozen pizza from the grocery store.

I eat there a lot. You can see into the kitchen, and it is very clean. Giovanni's and Fred's are basically the same food, but you pay twice as much at Fred's. Pizza hut is stuck in the 1990's. Dingy and gross. I'll stick with laRosa and giovannis.

Scott needs to take some pointers from Bruce Parsley. His stores are ran with class. Scott's places are disgusting and ran by people who have no idea what it takes to run a business. Scott doesn't even know where anything is at in his own restaurants, Bruce can actually go in his business and know what the hell is going on unlike Scott!

well i see there is a few different opinions. but for me i will stay away from this place. i have to agree about the sauce on the spaghetti it could use more. and the salad dressing come on get serious one little baby size cup. i dont think you should have to pay for more dressing for the salad your already paying for. this place will not stay in business being that tight with dressing and sauces. and yeah you can see some of the kitchen maybe its not that dirty but what about the person fixing the food are they clean. if you like it thats good for you. but for me ill stick with the better pizza places in town.
