Maybe you would like to pay for this big name rock act. They aren't cheap. Rock n roll house party has one band and charges $50 a head for tickets. Get over their limited selection. And enjoy the FREE entertainment.

They always have had at least one big name rock band. Looks like River Days is on the decline. Not complaining, Ashland's close and has plenty of top bands.

Portsmouth has been on the decline for years, the fireworks were not held, McKinley pool not opening on the day they said & this is the 2nd. time it has happened. streets not being fixed properly with being paved, just patched, old sewer pipes when city was built, just tape these up rather than installing a whole new system, yellow lines painted on streets is not good quality paint so it wears off in 3 months, rundown houses, weeds all over, dog poop everywhere with no health laws followed for owners to clean up after there pets go poop. Scioto co. gets the dirty end of the stick with gas being sold so high, trash along the streets, businesses rundown. clicks all around town, only families of families being helped with jobs, it is a big mess of a town. this is the 50th. year for river days & it should have the best bands and really celebrate. did you know that ducky derby is rigged. they don't even really pick the duck out of the river that finished first, they pick people who they want to be the winner, same with ballgame split the pots with the different schools. it is all greed. where is the money to weed the city parking lots ? Mr. Abrecth & his volunteers weeded the 4th.st.parking lot.

Should be glad they have something at all. Where do you the money comes from? They can't afford top groups. Most who go down there go to party. It wouldn't matter to them what kind of music they played.

Within the last year or so, there was a committee organized and they were going around to organizations, etc. Nothing on the radar screen???

Or is it over, or cancelled? Ptown's Forte. Leadership Ptown is alive and well 300 graduates, 300???

I have no idea about the murals committee. With the first mural ever painted it was supposed to be a free art painting on a flood wall but somehow it became about money.
